Relaxed atmosphere with really diverse yet super friendly locals with a real ale and spirit list that's more aimed at the connoisseur

Wonderful little pub, no music, no sports, no TV just people engaging in small talk with happy, well behaved dogs. This bar is just perfect. Great beers, friendly staff and a good atmosphere no matter how empty or how busy. I don't recommend it because I don't want it to get too busy. Stay away, you'll ruin it!!!😉🤣

Cozy, dog friendly place with great ale and cider where you'll most certainly meet some lovely people when you visit.

A delightful gem, a good old fashioned drinking den. I would not call it a public house (even though that is what it is) early doors is a no fuss, no thrills place for the earnest drinker. Always a good welcome, a wide choice of real ales and ciders, not much larger than someones front room! Good atmosphere, good beer and heartily recommended.

What a great micro pub and easy to see why the local CARMA branch awarded it pub of the year!They have a nice range of well kept ales served straight from the cask. During our visit the line up included Church End Brewery Goats Milk, which was the CAMRA Champion Beer of Britain 2017. A well deserved award. Apparently they have Church End beers avaiable once per month.Obviously being a micro pub the seating is limited. We went on a Saturday night we had to sit on one of a few small tables outside. Note the pub is hidden in a walk way off Sheaf Street opposite an Eastern European supernarket.I would highly recommend Early Doors, which is dog as well as people friendly.

Superb micro pub, friendly clientele, choice of local real ales & ciders. Even my wife enjoys visiting here and she doesn't drink ale or cider, they do serve tea & coffee though and in proper teacups too!! Owners and staff lovely too 😊
