Gongoozlers Restaurant in Daventry

Obviously a very popular place, serving good food from a varied menu. I had an excellent breakfast which was well cooked and generous in size.

Its ok. Not brilliant but not the worst. I would use it again.

Delicious hearty breakfast sitting by the canal and plenty to gongoozle at as we tucked in. Friendly and helpful service, charming and unpretentious setting.

Great place. Seating inside (pre-Covid), and in a garden next to canal. Food is very good, the breakfasts are exceptional. The Ladies running it, are very pleasant. Fairly priced fare. Pick a sunny day to visit, so you can finish with a nice canal-side, or around the marina, walk.

As good as their reputation. I love the bacon & sausage in a bagette with their home style chips, as a narrowboater who was around before lock down on the way through and now just leaving it was great to see them open again last weekend.

Love it. Food great and lovely staff. Can get busy so plan to wait a while but it's well worth it. I recommend the breakfast 👌

We go here on Sunday mornings half way through our bike ride for breakfast. Very good value for money, really tasty food and welcoming staff. Definitely worth a trip!

We've been here a few times. Every time it's been amazing. Homemade cakes are amazing, as are the sandwiches. Highly recommended

Nice unique way to have a café. Food good and nice area.

Would have given it 5 stars if the coffee hadn't been instant. Guess it's difficult in a small space, but there are times you want proper coffee, an americano would have been fine. Going back soon to have lunch.
