Indian Chef in Daventry

Really very good food. I'm very picky when it comes to takeaways, but this is probably the best Indian takeaway I've had in many years

I ordered a chicken tikka and got a few pieces of chicken barely seasoned. There was no curry sauce with this just pieces of chicken. Onion bhaji's tastes very bland too. I was excited to try this out as I live around 10 miles away and indian chef were offering free delivery. The website is very basic it would be better if they included images of the dishes you are ordering.

Food was overpriced, nothing special about it. Staff were horrible, I wanted to change something and they said no to that. Service was ok took a bit long for my food to come. If u want to eat an Indian I recommend the Indian cottage. Staff there are nicer and friendly, food is good, cost is on the pricey side but they have events on and they have buffets. The takeaway is meh, nothing special about it. The chips I got were oily.

Always friendly and my family loves it when I get food from The Indian Chef.

THE BEST CURRY EVER. No joke, the Lamb Tikka Massala with extra lamb is like nothing I've ever tasted. I've had a far few curries in my time and this one tops them all. Wonderful service with friendly staff who never get your order wrong

Outstanding food for a takeaway. Having live in India for almost a year, i fell that most cater for the English pallet, these do not. They understand it's not all about heat. They get the flavours out of the spices, my top choice for a takeout around here

Indian Chef is a diamond in the ruff. The quality of the food is out of this world. Even the bag is top quality. The tikka masala was the best I have tasted, I don't say that lightly either. It was amazing. The salad was fresh and everything else was spot on. These guys seriously put passion into their cooking and it shows. Despite living over 40 minutes away, I will definetly be back again. You can see the kitchen from the front desk. This looked clean and tidy. The staff are very friendly and offer great customer service. 10 out of 10. Beautiful food! You must try Indian Chef! Thank you guys.

Stick to the starters, which are excellent. The mains were very disappointing, and my meal of lamb cooked with aubergine was extremely oily.

nice but our dishes was very greasy so a bit dissapointed.
