Indian lodge in Daventry

Three of us ate here while passing through on holiday. Food was generally lovely. However the veg biryani arrived without rice (biryani is a rice based dish) and when I queried this was told 'we don't serve it with rice here'. Strange, but I didn't argue. On rechecking the menu later I saw that it should indeed have included rice. Would have been five stars if they'd been honest about the oversight.

Outstanding. Probably the best curry I've had in years - I would recommend either the lamb shank or the mutton curry. Two things you rarely find on the menu in an Indian restaurant. Highly recommended.

I don’t ever write reviews, however I have been compelled to for this absolute beauty of a place.I have been here twice whilst on business with work and let me tell you I’ve never had a curry and sides fresher than this and with actual quality ingredients.Plus the style and atmosphere inside is perfect for a chill evening.Highly recommend

Having eaten curries for many, many years; the Indian Lodge in Crick is probably one of the most amazing restaurants in Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Having eaten here many times I have always thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience and friendly personal service. A must for real Indian food cuisine.
