Great food and very good service. Been here twice now and both times been thoroughly impressed! Definitely recommend

Food was very nice, good portion sizes. Sadly they had sold out of Roasts. Not many healthy options.Server Jenna was lovely.

We were a very large group and the team handled us perfectly! Table service was constant. The food all came out together which was amazing considering the numbers, all correct and piping hot. We couldn't have asked for a better start to our wedding celebrations!Thank you so much

Good food but orders were a bit mixed up and not quite right. A bit of a wait time but was informed beforehand. Some staff were so nice and friendly but others came across cold and rude attitude.This is only the second time visiting but will try come again anyway.

When i asked if i could switch my mash for chips, instead of asking the kitchen, the waiter just consulted his tablet and said it doesn't say that i could. He wouldn't go and ask so i picked something else to eat. The food the table received was delicious but i wish they wouldn't do chunky chips as they are too much. The staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced.

Great pub. Lovely staff. We do the quiz every week. Always good fun. Great food and drink. Best pub in Daventry! Highly recommended. 👍😎

Attended for a funeral wake. Staff were great and drinks fine but the buffet provided at £6 per head was worth about £6 in total. Very poor value for money. How hard can it be to make a pile of sandwiches and put out some salad in bowls rather than using burger buns for rolls and providing the cheapest and nastiest sausage rolls and pork pies I've ever tasted, and I've tasted some rubbish in my time. The only vegetable matter on display was a huge bowl of pickled onions. Fortunately nobody else I know is at deaths door so I won't be going back again for a while.

I'm a regular, I usually go once a week. The food and beer is always good and well priced. Service is always exceptional and the quiz on Thursdays is always fun. Pub is a nice place to be - warm, picturesque, clean and friendly. Reading a couple of other reviews I'll admit I have had 1 or 2 overcooked beef burgers there in the past but lately they've all been spot on. Recommend the Korean BBQ chicken burger!

very very good value, best roast I've had in ages! and more definitely the cheapest. Good atmosphere, attentive waitress. Good all-rounder is this place. Nice estate surrounding it, still view arnt too bad either

The atmosphere was pleasant, but service was slow, we waited almost an hr for our meals which when they did arrive where cold. Not good when it's a roast dinner. They changed them but the replacement food wasn't much warmer, that said it was edible and tasted good. We appreciated that they appeared full but no explanation or hint of apology regarding waiting time for food we arrived at 2:20pm but due to the slowness of service it took 3hrs from start to finish. We won't be going back!
