Booked a table for father's day, eldest son has celiac disease, this was made aware at booking a week prior. The manager (Nicky I think).Went way above exceptions, not only making kitchen prepared but also by cooking his food separately, and cooking him his own roast potatoes. The service was great and all members off staff friendly and helpful, food was delicious and potions a good size.

Just been here with a party of 8 for a meal for sons birthday. Was a really great experience food was excellent would definitely recommend the steak (was cooked to perfection). Prices of drinks a little steep especially kids soft drinks but can be forgiven as food was so nice 😁

We came out for Father’s Day as my dad has always used the queen of hearts and he loves his puddings, so we end up having a satisfactory meal (woznt wonderful but not bad enough to complain about) and then we went to order the puddings at 18.55 which he was so so looking forward to……………… only to be told…… we ain’t doing ANY puddings now !!!!!My father was gutted and we was all shocked to say the least !!!So so disappointed.

Fantastic Pub! I have always had great food here - and the beer has always been great too. This is quite a big family food pub and it serves everybody really well al at the same time, zoned for families eating, couples and friends drinking and lads playing pool and darts. A proper community pub delivering for all of it's customers. Last time i went i had their new chicken burger served with homemade chicken gravy for dipping and it was delicious!

Comfy seats, big plus for me.Clean and tidy, friendly staff.Reasonable prices. Some items unavailable on the deal but we were allowed alternatives from main menu.Toilets could do with a repaint, but very cleanWe are shareholders, so pleased to go to another Marstons and enjoy the food

The Queen of Hearts is local to us.We have eaten there on several occasions and have always enjoyed our meals which are reasonably priced. Sometimes it can be a bit noisy but you can always get away from this by eating in the other room. The staff are always very friendly and helpful.

I had not had a proper pub dinner in twelve years but Queen of Hearts was a good re-introduction.A starter, main course and drink came to a little under £20, which I found very reasonable and the quality of the food was good.I thought the wait for the food was a little long given that it was not very busy and a sauce for which I had paid was missed (I admit I also forgot this…) but the staff were nice and I do not want to be too harsh. The interior decor is homely and there is also a pool table for those so inclined, so a little something for everyone.

I was not impressed. There was no price list for any drinks, if you are unsure of what you are wanting to drink you will have to ask for all individual prices. The pricing in the food menu was misleading, we ordered sausage and mash and went to order the price was £2 more then listed. Apparently the price in the menu was for lunch only but there was nothing to say price's are different in the evening. The cutlery was dirty which in times of COVID is not acceptable I had to wash them in the bathroom. The food came reasonable fast but the peas where raw, the carrots where chewy and the mash lumpy. I asked what red wines they had and I got told "either this cheap stuff or a different one" all together the experience was very disappointing and would not go back.

Met here for the first time for lunch with a small group of former colleagues as our regular meeting place has staff shortages. The staff here were friendly and helpful and the service speedy. The dining area was well spaced and well ventilated. We have determined to return here for our January meeting. A bonus is the parking and step free entrance, we're none of us as sprightly as we we used to be.
