Really enjoyed it. Food is great and the service is brilliant. Currently you have to bring your own beers but they were happy to pour my kingfisher into a kingfisher glass for me. All the family really enjoyed the experience.

First timers here and we ordered on Thursday night for my mum's birthday, we had 3 main dishes, nann and rice, was absolutely to die for! The chicken tikka masala was the best I've ever tasted. Not my fav korma but still very nice. Guy on the phone could do with some brushing up on his customer skills, although quite pricey but would order again :-)

We have been going for quite a few years now, and very rarely have we had an indifferent meal only perhaps once in 10 years. Kumar is very efficient and welcoming, in all a very nice place to have a lovely evening meal.

Went in last Sunday for lunch , it had been open an hour when we went in. The waiter was stood smoking by the till and the place was completely empty. The asked us to come back in 15mins with no explanation as to why. Two stars, one for his optimism, and one as it looked cosy. No idea what the food or the service was like sadly.

Thought we would try the curry garden for a change. Our food was very bland and when I said to the waiter that the dish we had chosen was supposed to be a thick spicy sauce but what he had served was mild like a korma he said well I can get the chef to spice it up ...I said yes but not too spicy. It came back as spicy as a vindaloo.... which was unedible. All in all not a nice dining experience and I now know why we were the only diners in the restaurant for the whole 90minutes we were in there.

I gave only 3 stars as I went for the buffet and the choice was minimal. They were 2 mild currys and I prefer something with a little more kick to it and there was a lack of side dishes...didnt even have bombay potatoes. They do serve currys with more spice from the main menu and they may well be very nice. The staff were polite and the restaurant was o.k.

I regularly have my takeaways from here, I have never had a bad meal. Food is always hot when delivered, good portion sizes, and the order is always correct when delivered. I highly recommend giving the curry garden a go. I cannot comment on eating in as I haven't actually done this myself. But you will not be disappointed.

FOOD POISONING!!!! AVOID!!!!Whole family ordered different curry’s from this restaurant yesterday evening and all of us have been throwing up non stop since last night. Whole family has been off work today all of us vomiting from food poisoning. I’ve seen another review on here claiming they found pink chicken with blood which doesn’t surprise me.We have reported this vile place to the council to investigate. Should not be serving food if they don’t know how to thoroughly cook meat. Awaiting to speak to the manager this evening.

Excellent food with a very helpful wait staff that provided insight into what each dish was like. I tried the recommended Jalfrezi, and found myself delighted by how rich the flavours were. When I find the time I definitely plan to visit here once again.

I have been a patron of the Curry Garden for quite a few years now but this last visit to my favourite Curry House has made me think that i may no longer hold this restaurant in the high esteem I once held for it.Right from the start of the evening when my party of five entered the establishment we were kept waiting in the doorway for a good five minuets. We were eventually shown to our table and asked by the waiter if "You Lot" wanted any poppadoms and something to drink, at this point i wasn't sure i had heard correctly so i let it go.The poppadoms came and went then the same waiter turned up and asked if "You Lot" are ready to order, this time there was no mistake because other members of my party had heard his off hand remark. We ordered our meals then the waiter turned up with the plate warmers and promptly told us to make space for the aforementioned plate warmers, I stared to wonder who was waiting on who.Myself i ordered what i always have Chicken Madras and i must say i had no complaints it was up to its usual high standard. But that was not the case for two of my party who ordered Tandoori King Prawn Masalla. All i can say about that is they must have used about six prawns for both meals because when the meal was examined you could see that the prawns had been chopped up into smaller pieces. When we questioned the waiter about this we were informed that it was part of the recipe.Any way I can tell you now that "THIS LOT" "WILL NOT" be using the Curry Garden in future, which makes me quite sorry really because i have had a lot of good times there in the past. Oh Well .
