Ordered via just eat for the first time today. Delivery was really early compared to what was advised, portions were very generous and the food was delicious and arrived piping hot. We will definitely be back

I went to the foundry after hearing how nice it is, but after my experience I am appalled.I went to the foundry to be greeted by a lad at the front-of-house working on his own in the restaurant and bar, with only 1 chef/staff member in the kitchen I could tell already service was going to be slow, which was fine by me as I was just going to enjoy a nice drink and food in the nice weather.I assumed the lad was new as he seemed short of experience working behind the bar, however, he did a great job!I state now that if it wasn't the fact the lad was very welcoming and assuring I would have left without spending a penny that day, I looked at the menu and ordered 2 strawberry daquiri's, strawberry cheesecake and a philly steak for my friend and I, for the prices I was expecting either quality or quantity. I remember the prices being £4.50 for the cake, £6.95 for the steak and £7.50 for our drinks, the lad informed us that he would be making his first one from no experience which I was fine with, it was really nice but the glass was small and I wasn't all that happy paying £15 for small drinks that took a short time for us to finish. The cheesecake was a mess, broken apart and about 2 spoonfuls would've ended the dessert, it had a leaf on top and was smothered in sauce to attempt to cover up the disaster it was, I sent it back and the chef asked the lad to ask me "what was wrong with it?" I chuckled at the question but answered the lad as he was only the messenger for a chef who couldn't come out and ask himself even though it was a quiet day, I knew the chef knew, but I answered only for the blame to be pinned on the delivery guy., if the boxes were a mess on arrival then why did you take it? Surely common sense would've stated "REFUND" on visuals. The philly cheesesteak was nice though so clearly it weren't the chefs fault on the cheesecake. After that, the manager comes in the front door just before closing time walking past the table and chairs she asked the lad to bring in, then informed him to let the customers who what been waiting a while to order food, that it was closing time and the kitchen was closed, this really isn't a good look on any business! The 1 star on this review I give only to the lad who worked his butt off as I wouldn't have stayed,I hope the tip went in his pocket and not to the company or other staff. He was the only person that made me feel customers were more valuable than profit which most people have seemed to have forgotten now days, so kudos to him. My only advice to him is to stop apologising like he's at fault for the companies flaws.Maybe I will give the foundry another shot as this seemed like a bad day for the business to open, hopefully next time I will get the full on experience and change my rating and review, but until then this is all I can state.

Good service. Had the Girder Burger with chips and an oat latté. The burger was lovely the chips crispy on the outside and soft inside. Will definitely go there again.

A great place for a late Saturday lunch- the vegan burger on the specials menu was really delicious and came with a very good coleslaw. We all loved the chips! I heartily recommend the range of loose leaf teas as well. A friendly place with a good kids menu.

Had a veggie breakfast and Lavazza americano coffee. Took the basic option for £7.00 which is a Linda Macartney sausage, soft fried egg, steamed spinach, roasted tomato with herbs, baked brans, mushrooms and toasted artisan bread. The option to go large costs £1.50 more but not clear what would be included for that money. The coffee is one size only and £2.35 but I love Lavazza. The option for a go large coffee would appeal. The premises are pleasant to sit and eat in and was almost full of customers when we came in late on a Sunday morning.Definitely recommend you come here to eat of you're veggie or vegan as there are delicious vegan options too.

An industrial themed cafe.On our visit, tables were dirty and had to ask staff to wipe the spilt milk and butter from our table. No decaff coffee available, was offered decaf tea instead.Did not eat, but food coming out, did look good.
