Lovely country village pub that is beautifully decorated inside and out. Food and service is 10/10 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Very good value for money 👍🏻 I am coeliac and need to eat gluten free and the menu has lots of choice. Would highly recommend the George 😊

Good quality food at a reasonable price, the staff were extremely happy and friendly even though they were very busy. Will definitely visit them again

My wife Jane and I visited the George a couple of weeks ago.it was our first visit, Tanya made us most welcome.the food was amazing. Will be going back again, with our friends Donna and Chris.

Wow! Packed pub throughout, great to see. Good staff, good drink selection though teased us with Red Stripe glasses whilst they don't serve Red Stripe. Good food, good company.

The food is average to great ! Stuff members are great to ! They split now, in the right of the entrance is dinning and the left is the bar, pool table. No smoking inside witch is perfect for non smokers like me.

A beautiful building with a beautiful outside earing area. Staff were friendly kind polite and efficient. Special thank you to Titus and the lovely young lady who served our lunch. So sorry I didn't get her name. The meal was gorgeous well cooked very well presented and a reasonable price. Certainly on our pop in again when we are out that way. So we are saying well worth a visit. Xx

Had dinner last Sunday, all great, fitted us in last min. Staff were so helpfull and unlike most pubs they knew what the veg was 😁 best part was the melt in your mouth meat.

Food was Amazing 😋 Fresh and very good quality, steaks cook to perfection for all of us, staff friendly and helpful we would definitely recommend going.

Very pleasant country pub. Made to feel welcome. Quick and efficient service by friendly staff. Called in for Sunday Lunch after visiting the Anglo Saxon church there. Reasonably priced Sunday Roast. Small £7.99 and large £9.99. Small still a good plate full. Lots of meat. Most enjoyable-lovely atmosphere.
