Visited this place after returning our Narrow boat to Union carriers. Warm friendly welcome, excellent food and plenty of drinks. And lager if you’re that way inclined. Sharing platter starter is great as a main course, ham egg and chips are outstanding value..

The new owners told me to come back and I am glad I did fantastic place once again glad I came back. The bar maid made feel very welcome and I will be coming back with my kids to try the food

Very cosy little pub. Been there quite a few times driving back from rugby. Will be back again. Nice and friendly staff.

We had a lovely family meal proper chips and hone made pizza! , the service was excellent, the gentleman couldn’t of been more helpful and nothing was any trouble. Lovely food at reasonable prices.

Went to a local car meet here. Ordered a couple of drinks the carling was a little lifeless and the tribute ale was not the best pint I've had. BBQ outside had to wait about 20 minutes for a burger, slightly over done but that's bbq I suppose. Nice venue could do with a little modernisation inside.

On barge holiday and stopped here today. We were going to eat at a chain pub by the canal but was recommended this pub by the local butchers.Well the food was very tasty cooked in house and at a reasonable price.Highly recommendedReturned on Friday and had a fish lunch. Just as good as the previous visit very friendly and new owners with the vision of making this pub a proper local.Looking forward to a visit in a year or so....

We passed through the village and were going to have Fish &Chips but ended up in The Old Plough. My partner had vegan food and I had the most amazing burger ever!! Great food and very friendly staff.
