Had an excellent 'light' lunch - hunter's chicken then roulade. Good value Very pleasant staff.

Really happy we found this lovely place. The menu is great, with good vegetarian options, specials, and a fantastic Sunday lunch. What makes it special though, is the welcome, and fantastic staff who can't do enough to make sure your experience is a fantastic one.Would recommend to everyone.

The food was delicious, the staff pleasant and attentive and there was plenty of room between tables. It was also very reasonably priced.

The staff were really friendly and a real good laugh. They loved our two kids and couldn’t do enough to help making our stay even better. It’s a lovely place in a nice, quiet part of England. The food was good too! We would definitely return if we’re ever back up that way.

Really enjoyed this place - had heard it was good for steaks but never really had the opportunity until last Friday. Wow - went as a group and ended up going for the mixed grill. this bad boy didn't disappoint, as it arrived I thought I might of been too keen, then the separate bowl of chips turn up to go with it - awesome. Great food, well cooked and will defo look to go again. PS , made it through the mixed grill and it was lovely. Order a side of pepper sauce, this is a phenomenal addition

The service was slow due to being busy.The food was ok, very disappointed with the steak and the fries were over cooked didn't taste very nice and hard.The staff were all nice, but seem to forget to give out cutlery before the main meal comes out. Forgot to give me my second drink had to ask for it again.Also didn't get a bottle of wine with the 2x steak meals I ordered.

Best place for a meal I know. Good food, good beer, and good service too.

Great place, lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. The staff are very friendly and efficient.

Visited for a birthday meal. Food was really good, there was 22 of us, most had either a roast dinner or steak. Everyone was really happy with the service food lovely. Would highly recommend the Fillet steak.

Went for works Christmas meal. Starters were all delicious and hot, well presented. Main meals were poor for the price. Undercooked vegetables, cold gravy, and a wait to get all the dishes to the table. Red cabbage was awful. Dessert was delicious and again well presented. Female waitresses were good but younger staff obviously need more training. Won't be rushing back next year. Shame. Lovely building.
