Took an early morning trip as a family for breakfast. Strangely the kids chose a pub over McDonald's. Sat down and ordered from the app which is convenient. 4 orders, 2 muffins with drinks 1 traditional breakfast and 1 large breakfast came to around 22.00 not crazily expensive but the quality of product was pretty poor. The cooking was no better. Very disappointed with what was offered. Side order of black pudding had to go back as it was hard ,crispy and looked like it hade been nuked.Had a replacement that arrived when I'd finished and although not so crispy was still tasteless and was left on the plate. The pub itself is okay and the open fire was a nice addition if not a tad warm. May give it another try but maybe not for breakfast....

Fair prices, cheap food. Nice drinks and friendly staff. Only lost a star due to a lot of uncomfortable seating. Will certainly keep coming though. Thanks Team

Aweful even for a wetherspoons. Gets 1 star only because the building is nice and they manage to keep the ice cold. After a fair wait even though it is quiet the staff are rude and generally impolite. There is more often than not no card payments accepted either. Avoid unless you are REALLY desperate, there are far better pubs in the surrounding area that do food and drinks that are not much more expensive.

Cheap food and drinks. Good priced food and drink combo offers eh. £5.99 for curry, rice naan, poppodoms and a drink.

My husband went there this morning for some breakfast and was spoken to like a piece of *@&! by the member of staff working the bar, a young girl who obviously has no experience with customer service. My husband has been eating there for years and orders a full English but with vegetarian sausage instead, he just prefers them. It's never been a problem in past until today. He went to the till to order his usual breakfast and was asked why didn't he just have a vegetarian breakfast? He replied because I would still like the bacon etc and just prefers the taste of the vegetarian sausages. Reasonable I think. He was told by the member of staff that the kitchen was too busy to change the sausages and it couldn't be done.Too busy? Too busy to change some preheated sauages from meat to vegetarian? Really? When my husband questioned this and he was abruptly told that the kitchen was too busy and couldn't swap the sausages. Luckily, my husband held his tongue at the rude attitude he received and paid for the breakfast.I know you get what you pay for there but rudeness from staff is not on. Come on!

Nice quick service and good value for money

Normally a nice place for a reasonable breakfast. But they are doing renovations at the moment so the drilling into the walls didn't make it pleasant. No signage to make you aware before you ordered.

Called in for something to eat after a hard days work. It was late, so wasn't sure if they were still serving jut it was all good. Remarkably cheap beer prices, very extensive menu. Never eaten at a Wetherspoons before, except breakfast that is... I ordered a Tenessee chicken burger and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised. It was ridiculously tasty! Also, to get dinner and a pint for two blokes for less than £18 these days is just unheard of, even up North where I come from!We will be working around here for a couple of months, so I'm sure we will try many other menu options as the days and weeks unfold. 😊Big thanks to the staff by the way, always nice to see a smiling face that puts up with our bad jokes at the end of a busy day! 😉

A very smart Wetherspoon's with a good choice of places to enjoy your drink or meal. I had a jacket potato with five bean chili extra root vegetables and side order of peas. For drinks I enjoyed a Seashells and a Shipyard.A little slow to begin with, but once backlog had been cleared, service improved.

Fantastic meal for 8 on a family Valentine's Day/birthday plus anniversary. Food all came out same time piping hot and very nice well cooked steaks from the valentine's special menu. Excellent friendly staff couldn't do enough for us. Weterspoons at its best for sure. Even did the birthday cake for us and brought it to the table.
