Called in on the off chance of a table on Bank holiday Monday. We were found a table and we're very soon asked if we wanted a drink and was given plenty of time to decide. The food was very good and reasonable priced. The staff were warm and friendly. Not having been here for years it has from what I recall maintained a good standard and if in the area again I would have no hesitation to eat here again

Visited the Swan last night with friends, worst meal we have all had in many years, food not as described on the menu, burgers were supposed to be in a brioche bun but it was a standard bread bun, my friends thai ginger noodle salad was inedible, no tuna for my noodle dish, told it was going to be seatrout but when it came out it was salmon, triple cooked chips were clearly frozen oven chips deep fried but the worst of all was my husbands chicken burger, he bit into the chicken and it was warm at best, he called the waitress over who spoke with the manger, by the time the manger came over my husband had cut into another piece of chicken to find it was cold and raw! Raw chicken! the meal was taken away and he had gammon n chips as a safe bet...all main meals were taken off the bill but not really the point, raw chicken is not acceptable, if a vulnerable or elderly person had eaten my husbands meal they would have been extremely poorly. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

An angelic pub situated within a greenbelt of natural beauty. Sporting a garden that even Alan Titchmarsh couldn't say anything bad about. The food is of good taste & the young staff are extremely polite & well versed.

Booked a table for a Saturday night. Friendly welcoming staff. Table not crammed in. Service for drinks excellent. Food ordered (starters and mains). Excellent starters and mains. No issues with quality of food or in the service provided. Will certainly book a table in the future.

Absolutely loved it!! Staff were attentive and very chatty. Food was 10/10 i had the linguine and my son had the sausage and mash, it was just what we needed! Would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends.

Two years ago, I would describe in one word, legendary! And today, the sad truth is that the pub is lovely, beautifully situated, great drinks. But food is a scandal! Don't buy anything to eat, I paid over forty pounds, I ate half, my wife tried but ate two potatoes with sauce we gave the rest Over forty pounds for non-edible meals. SCANDAL

A very disappointing with experience for dinner with friends. It was a total disaster from start to finish. We were ashamed to have taken friends for dinner there. The chicken dish that my husband was dry and looked as if it had been cooked a few days before. The fish was so small that it was just the batter..The strudel was the last bit and looked like a crash. We sent back but it shouldn't have been served in the first place. The brownie was a cake!!We felt as if the staff didn't know what they were doing. It has been one of the places we go frequently but not anymore.

My family of 4 adults went for an e arly evening meal...we were the only people in the restaurant though there were a few in the bar. No atmosphere at all...our voices echoed ...really awkward to have a conversation. The food was barely warm, mediocre at best in quality. The dessert.....cheesecake...what a rip off at almost £6.00 for a gelatinous tasteless mass produced item. Price wise....very expensive for what it was. This was our first visit to the Lamport Swan and you won't be surprised to know that it will also be the last. Do not waste your money.More effort needs to be made by the staff at every level.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian food. Our Waitress was Alisha and she made our visit even more enjoyable with her personality, helpfulness, fun and friendliness.

We visited mid afternoon on a Sunday, having never been before, it's a really nice gastro pub environment, light open and airy. The staff were very friendly, and our waitress initially was very helpful regarding dietary requirements. We opted to skip starters, but mains were delivered with good efficiency and really tasty food, the Sunday roast Trio had really well cooked meat, the beef still pink, and 3 were very tender and succulent. Kids meals looked good, and we're enjoyed by our 9 and 6 Yo'sThe service became a little patchy at this point, no one came to check everything was okay, or if any more drinks were needed, the finished plates sat on the table for over 5 minutes once we had finished.Deserts were ordered, and again they were keen to help deal with finding something non dairy for one of the adults. I had a chocolate bread and butter pudding which was devine, but for some reason was served a few minutes after the other 3 desserts.
