Lovely welcoming pub with a great menu. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food, wine and service. Family have always mentioned how good this place is... and they were right. Thank you

I came here with friends, and although the food was nice. The service and the way we were treated was appalling. My friend ordered a fillet steak, was told they didn’t have any long after he had ordered and when he ordered a rare rib-eye, it came to us well done and when he complained they treated him as he was in the wrong. I am thoroughly disappointed that this once fine establishment and that the once great Ward’s Arms has had its reputation and legacy ruined. I can’t believe this pub has come this low. Another friend was given moldy bread and another was not brought his food at all until he chased it up.

Didn't try food so can't comment on that.Cheerful bar staff... 2 beers nit previously had so free taster of both much appreciated... Beer seems to be kept well... Altogether nice village pub with real character

Friendly staff, choice of beers and tasters, pool table in separate room (although furnishings very tatty in there) soft drinks on the high side. Overall lovely in lovely village setting.

Used to go here about 100 years ago when it was the Ward Arms. Then the second home of the Teeton Mc club. Played skittles and drunk Watney's Red Barrel. First time back for ages. Nipped in for a quick snack before going to a play by Guilsborough MADs. Found that it has been completely refurbished. No skittles but very nice and staff friendly and helpful. Food is good. Very popular.

While in Northamptonshire headed for the pub because of its website and details about lunch time menu. When we found it, we found out they were not serving food. Not sure if because it was a Monday or what? Very disappointed to say the least.

Decent selection of ales, lagers, ciders etc. Friendly staff and a welcoming vibe.Came back more recently. 7 of us went for a meal at The Witch and Sow and all of us left happy customers. The chicken, bacon and leek pie with chunky proper chips was delicious. The burgers were a good size and we're demolished. Lamb on flatbreads were very tasty.Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back.
