Quality food with service to match. Has become a Wednesday night tradition, to pick up after rugby. Was impressed that they rang to clarify the notes in my order instead of guessing.

Best chip shop in Allestree. Good portions and freshly cooked, perfect fish and chips.

Would recommend!The portion sizes are really good and well worth the price, with smaller and more affordable portions being available for those who only want a snack or work/study at the nearby schools. The service is usually quick however when the school kids from Woodlands go to buy chips, especially on a Friday, the queue can get fairly big, but this is to be expected!

One of the Best Chip Shops in Derbyshire.. Worth travelling that little few miles. Dont Go on a Monday like I did, they are closed. But hopefully they might do in future.

Tom and the team always serve up the best fish and chips in the area. Very friendly service and a super clean kitchen. We have been very impressed with being able to order in advance over lockdown and collection in covid safe conditions.

My favourite chip shop. I’ve now moved out of the area and still try and come down for a chicken wrap when possible. Fave chippy in derby by far 👌

Consistently good food, friendly staff and owner.Having lived in Derby for 10 years now, I can honestly say that this is the best chippy in the area. In fact it's one of the best chip shops in the country no exaggeration! We went to the coast recently and despite the raving reviews, the chip shop we sampled was horrible! We have definitely been spoilt by living local to Allestree Fish Bar... Just waiting for a Sheffield fish cake to be put on the menu and it'll be home away from home :)Whatever you do don't retire!! :)

Yet again a really nice kebab, normally i can't eat all of it but it was that tasty i even saved abit 4 l8r. Every bite was DELICIOUS. Really helpful staff and reasonable prices. 10/10.

Best customer service! Have ordered a few times and all was perfect. This last weekend did a very large order and 1 item left out. Rang and didn’t even have to say anything more but a fish was missing before they said they would bring it to our house! In the time it took to cook a fish and get to us- it was there...and with extra chips! That is the way to run a successful business!! Thank you for making sure our dinner was as we had wanted.
