I don't think that today's visit was even worth one star. My husbands meal was luke warm and mi ne was just thrown on a plate. Very disappointed

Sticky table but.....the food was easy to to order. It arrived quickly, was piping hot and much welcomed. Friendly attentive staff, made a pleasant dining experience. Just needs a good clean!!! 🙄🙄 The lamp shades were full of dust and the underneath of the table was sticky

Decent food bar staff on point.Team leader of the staff was mint crack willing to engage in conversation unlike some spoons.Bar manager was chatty but busy.Nice food good atmosphere.Charles is a local don't be put off with his dementia absolutely lovely bloke.Would pop in again.

To be honest I was quite disappointed with my order: I had a BBQ chicken pizza, some chips and American style cheese on the side. The cheese was on the chips but it was 2 slices of cheese that weren’t even melted, and the pizza base underneath was soggy and too packed with items. The server did offer to redo the chips but I was already put off and felt sick afterwards. For the price it’s decent but wouldn’t say totally worth it…

Good place to get very reasonably priced drinks, Great selection of Ales. The Barmaid told me they have to have 10 different ales at any time, and because they are one of the busiest pubs in town they can sell enough to keep the quality up. Good place to people watch and find someone to chat to

Very quiet on my visit.Some interesting information on the walls about local theatres and Babbington Hall.I had the mini chocolate brownie with ice cream and unlimited hot drinks for just over £3.There's a nice outdoor terrace with plants. Sadly, I can't see this one lasting 😢
