Just stopped to see how the renovations ended up on a Tues afternoon. Wow, what an amazing job they've done. Outside sitting area is a hidden gem.Had a lovely pizza and a couple of pedigrees. 🍻

This pub is about a ten minute drive from our house and is fast becoming a firm regular, we’ve been several times before and spent New Years even here but this particular trip on Friday night was for my partners birthday (i mentioned this on the reservation). We both had a cocktail which were delicious and the staff were happy to recommend their favourites, we then both ordered a main, I had the lamb flatbreads and my partner had the ox cheek and they were both amazing! The prices have gone up a little since our last visit so we may have to reserve this place a little more for special occasions but I can’t fault the food or drinks and after we’d finished the manager bought out an ice cream sundae for my partners birthday which was a really nice touch!Would definitely recommend if you’ve not been before!

went for lunch today, the service was very good, all staff were friendly and welcoming, the beef Sunday roast was amazing. Will be back 100% and already recommended to friends/family.

We had a lovely evening meal here. It's certainly changed a lot since I last went here.Without doubt, one of the tastiest looking menus I've seen, I could have chosen anything and been happy. It was so difficult to choose. While choosing we had nibbles of hummus and olives, both tasty. For starter I chose Gobi Manchurian and my wife chose Pulled Duck Pancakes. Both were excellent and my cauliflower was very flavoursome. For mains, I chose Chicken and Chorizo Casserole and my wife Lamb Shawarma Flatbread. They were both very flavoursome and I was very pleased they used chicken thighs in the casserole, which added to the flavour. My only slight criticism was the saffron rice with my dish was overcooked. A minor thing and everything else was brilliant. No pudding though for us as we were absolutely full.I'd definitely recommend this place and I can't wait to come back!

Dined in an outdoor booth with a party of 10. Perfect set up. Heater, music, call button and great food & service. Would recommend.

I had a fantastic meal with my wife. We were made to feel very welcome, and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend it.

A recently refurbished Country pub, with attractive low beamed interior.A great value set meal was available for Mother's Day, with Vegan options - Excellent.Tasty well presented food, and a great wine list.Service whilst very good, was slightly intrusive and there was time pressure to clear our table for the guests who followed on. Clearly, a very busy number of covers.Would have been 5 stars without the rush.Recommended.

We were lucky to get a pod outside on New Year's day. The kids got one too and were served with the same attentiveness as the adults. Perfect place to dine and relax. Helpful, friendly servers. Reasonably priced menu with ample non-meat options. Thank-you!

Great pub for food - pizza, ice cream etc. Efficient and friendly staff. Good value.

Not impressed! In small area around 50m2 35+ people-noise was echoing when talk, no active ventilation, get sweety very quickly. Pot with dirt on table for start. Food Safety 0. We ordered starter camamber and we had it in original packaging, get cold after minutes, teared wrapping paper, no hot ceramic dish to keep it warm,so not happy for £11.90 experience. Shredded lettuce in Cesar salad was cut in half jem salad with dirt, anyway can happen. But please ask how we would like our steat cooked and don't wait to ask the waiter for steak knife. I liked my Thai salmon salad just a jentle reminder that all ingredients in one meal should be tempered on the same level. Not fan of cold glass noodles and lovely hot salmon. Masaman Curry-great taste-lack of care-get cold for minutes, anyway the rice was cold on cold plate so nobody get burn.Winer was my son's fish and chips! Crunchy batter, good portion chips and pea. And my sticky toffee puddung! That's it. I felt shivering in cold toilets inside-no wonder no heating in it. In total we paid 103.00 for 4 of us and left not happy with this experience. 😕
