Fish cakes was not hot they were cold and chicken nuggets Come out and of freezer they were cold water coming out the chicken nugget in the middle and the owner is so rude never ever going there again and he Chucked the change out the window rude man women was kind and friendly man was disgusting like he had no care for food poor customer service rather go Beaufort street

Not great. Beef and onion pie chips and gravy, in a tray. But put a stupor bit of paper on the tray first, half portion of chips and pie was barely warm, then wrapped it up tight so all the paper was covered in gravy, chips break apart when you try pick one up. Just got annoyed eating it really

I walked in to place my order and a lady with blonde hair didn't even greet me and looked me up and down, I then placed my order with a card in my hand which she clearly saw, yet waited to put it in the register and then decided to tell me it was cash only with a right attitude the way she said it. To get cash out outside the building charges you £1.29 to get cash out. So I got in my car and left, won't be returning ever again, never have I felt so uncomfortable anywhere in my life than I did today, it was the same ages ago when I went in, you really need to learn some customer service skills because I have never ever had service like that.

So far, the best chip shop I have found in the Derby area.

This is a proper fish and chip shop. The kebabs are generous and excellent. The best thing about this place is the political debate to be had with Nick, the proprietor

OK, Its a Chip Shop so fast food, not neccesarily good quality food. However, had food there earlier today. Food was very good actually and the young gent serving me was incredibly polite and helpful.

We had large chips with battered cod and a portion of scampi. This costed about £9, which wasn't too bad. The portion of chips was fairly small (about the size of a paperback book) and fairly soggy. The cod was, as mentioned in another review, tasteless and grey. The scampi on the other hand was quite nice; they had cooked it to order.All in all, worth avoiding if you can, there are better chip shops around.
