Darley Abbey Wines in Derby

Pretty atmospheric bar, friendly staff and of course a good wine selection. Be nicer to have more by the glass. Also would be nice to have Guinness. No Guinness is sacrilege.

Cracking place, great selection of beers and fine wines

We were a little disappointed with the whole experience. We booked a table weeks ago, when we arrived we were allocated 2 seats against a wall with a very small shelf, as we were going to eat I asked for a table, we were told that the tables were reserved for 4 plus people. After we were seated and our food ordered more people arrived and a number of tables became occupied by couples and not always 4 plus people.The entertainment was, in our opinion poor and the singer out of tune.We had waited 2 years to spend a Christmas gift but really did feel let down. It was expensive, we didn't have enough table room for food and drinks and the music was poor. We had heard such great things about the wine bar and we will give it another go, just hoping things will be different next time.

Darley Abbey Wines is one of those places where you feel like you’re transported to somewhere special the moment you step in. Great selection of drinks and fantastic atmosphere - highly recommend! Great pizza as well and everything could be ordered through an convenient app.

I came here on a wet rainy boxing Day. I'm not a wine drinker myself, however I was pleasantly surprised with how great there beer selection is, many great breweries from the local area. The staff are all nice and let us stay beyond our booked time. Also I got to show off my Roy Cropper t shirt for the first time.

Went to a wine tasting night with friends and thoroughly enjoyed it - great wines and good. Really informative & fun night - would definitely go back for another

This is squirrelled away at the rear of the historic Darley Abbey Mills. Brilliant choice of wines and craft beers. Friendly and knowledgeable staff in a surprisingly large and rustic venue. Nice courtyard area too Recommend booking as this place is not such a secret anymore... See you there !!

Beautiful atmospheric wine bar with friendly knowledgeable staff. Cosy and comfortable place to relax or bring friends for a night out. Its a great hidden spot in Derby and well worth the time to visit.

Absolutely amazing wine bar set within the lovely Darley Mills. Fabulous and cozy courtyard. Fabulous selection of drinks. Pizza can be ordered too. Fantastic customer service. Highly recommend.
