Evergreen Garden in Derby

Best Chinese food we have ever had.

Had a takeaway from Evergreen Garden tonight for the first time and can say it is without doubt the best Chinese takeaway we've ever had! 5 stars doesn't do it justice!

Fairly expensive but worth every penny top quality food and service easily best in Derby

Awful. The smallest portion I have ever been served anywhere ever...... not even enough sweet and sour to cover the extremely tough chicken..... not to mention the super-salty beef and chicken wings which were basically deep fried from Iceland.... if you think this is good food you really should get out more.... never again......

Beautiful food, always happy with food from here, i ordered today online for 6pm delivery, it came on tine piping hot with friendly delivery driver. Would highly reccomend.

Thank you! You saved our anniversary treat! Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed so we went hunting and found every other takeaway closed until the Evergreen Garden! You were amazing, helpful, patient and the food was divine. Every dish was yummy! Our Little One was particularly excited by their lollipop. Thank you so much! We'll definitely be back again. 谢谢！

May I start by saying this is the first time I have ever posted a review but I feel so strongly about the quality of our meal. We were recomended this takeaway by friends, the premises were clean open and very inviting, the portions were large the prawn toast was very nice but the chicken in black pepper sauce was bland and tasteless and was more like a beef gravy with a sprinkling of black pepper, the beef chop Suey was also weak and tasteless the chips were tasteless and the egg fried rice was tasteless, overall a very disappointing eat, no plans to return or recommend, I think 2 stars is very generous. I ordered from Evergreen Garden while working in Derby (as our key-worker hotel wasn’t serving food). Probably one of the best and most appreciated Chinese meals I’ve eaten. The food was freshly cooked and piping hot, very generous portions and excellent quality. The Singapore chow mein had big king prawns, not shrimps! The beef in the curry was soft and tender - the curry had extra heat and no mushrooms, exactly as requested. Collection was seamless and all the required Covid-19 measures were in place. I will be heading back when I’m next working up in Derby.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Last night's takeaway was amazing! The prawn toast in the starter, perfect. The ribs, perfect, the spring rolls, extra crunchy and by far the best I'd ever had.The chili chicken main was incredible. You guys are by far the best Chinese takeaway in Derby and probably the whole of the Midlands.You deserve more credit, the extra steps you go to do not go Unnoticed because I recommend you to pretty much everyone.PLEASE keep up the great food and don't let the standards slip.
