If i live near this place, i would come every week. Coffee is so good but food Just amazing. So fresh. All staff was super kind and professional, there was a small mistake but they're apologized so quick and solved mistake perfectly, which i would definitely visit again. Thank you! Also if you have dog there is some dog friendly zone, call them and ask if there is space. Really nice.

I had not heard of Hackwood Farm before my partner suggested it. On a Tuesday lunchtime it was busy, but not crowded. The friendly and efficient staff had us seated quickly and provided menus. The restaurant has a winning formula; simple dishes made with high quality ingredients, and it works. My ploughman's lunch was a thing of beauty, and so appetising I forgot to take a picture. My partner's breakfast brunch looked and tasted really good too. Loose leaf tea in an infusing teapot reminded me what I'm missing with tea bags. We had no room for the home made cakes, but will be back on another day.

Lovely decor and feel to the place. The food was really tasty & moderate to slightly high in price. A few mistakes on service & a little slow between drinks orders but nothing too severe.

·

Great place for brunch with good choices on the menu, dog friendly and the staff were very polite and helpful. I would recommend this place others.

Nice old farm buildings beautifully converted into cafe and farm shop. Good selection on the menu and a full range of cakes and drinks available.

Popped in for a coffee and a snack while out on a walk. We didn't book but were able to get a seat, and there is a takeaway option if no space left. I had a toasted teacake and my friend had scrambled eggs and salmon. The breakfasts are excellent with quality ingredients. Service is a little slow, especially if busy, but we weren't in a hurry. Well worth a visit for a leisurely cuppa and chat and when you want to treat yourself to breakfast, lunch or delicious cakes. My favourite is the ginger scones with honey and clotted cream.

A large group of us attended here for a retirement lunch and we could not have been better looked after. The table was set up and they accommodated us preordering due to the short lunch break we all had. Absolutely wonderful food, all served hot and at the same time!
