Harvester in Derby

Just great. Served at our table by a fabulous group of efficient friendly young girls. The salad bar experience is just great. If I'd have known beforehand, I'd have opted for just the salad, as it's so nice and varied. Although the other food is lovely of course. Don't forget to validate your vehicle for free parking.

Arrived without booking. Lady front of house (sorry didn't note name) very friendly took us to table. Ben who came to take the order was excellent very proficient, friendly and accurate... But the bonus was he was funny which made us laugh 🤭.. Excellent service from Ben. Now for the food... Absolutely delicious, salad bar looked clean and the taste of the food was great... Didn't meet our Chef... But 5* thanks Neil... for the taste and appearance of our meals... All in all a fantastic afternoon out. Thank you 😊

Lovely meal again. Little hiccup but all sorted out and we'll be back again soon. Thanks everyone. See you soon.

Haven't been to a harvester in about 15yrs, was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Service was excellent, our server Claire was efficient, friendly & polite. The food was very good, much better than I remember. Steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare by josh. A decent bottle of wine for a reasonable price too. All in all a good night's grub for a pretty good price. If we're back in derby again we'll definitely drop by again.

Decently solid restaurant right by the hotels in the area. Sam and Ben were both extremely accommodating with my lactose intolerance which was incredible! Pretty sure they were the most accommodating restaurant I've ever been in! Very personable and chatty as well! :) The only problem I've consistently encountered here is that they tend to be out of certain things like sweet potato fries pretty frequently. I don't mind that too much though! Worth a visit!

Breakfast here today.Quick, friendly and efficient service. I went with the steak and eggs. They were very accommodating and were happy to replace my hash browns with bacon. Pleasantly surprised with no extra charge either. We also had the eggs benedict and it was lovely.Food was cooked well. Atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Great.Only minor suggestion is, don't use those ceramic plates for steak. They move around something awful while cutting steak. I would recommend a wooden board for steaks.All said and done, I'd come back.

Visited here yesterday evening and WOW. friendly and welcoming staff, nothing was too much for them. The food is outstanding, delicious and hot. If you have not been here, it’s time you paid a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Went in this evening after booking a table and the service was amazing.Our server Ben made the experience A***** He made it personal and was very good. He had a laugh with us as well as ensuring that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back again.The food was amazing from our starter to our dessert all thanks to Neil our chef.Thank you for an enjoyable evening

Received message on harvester app for 50% off main meals. Booked table on line, arrived 10 minutes early, met with a warm greeting and show to our table. Drinks and meal order taken, was served at the salad bar by Matt U swiftly and efficiently with a smile.Dinner was served soon after our order was taken. Matt U looked after us and was an excellent member of your staff.Everything went without a hitch and the food was just great.

Visited on Thursday 11th November 2021.Surprisingly busy for a Thursday due to University of Derby graduation event at Derby Velodrome; however, service was still excellent with very little delay in either ordering food or food arriving.Unfortunately there was no cask beer on, having said that the choice is somewhat disappointing with either Doom Bar or Pedigree; however, I suspect that's all they're allowed to sell.Food is surprisingly good, not the same old overcooked 'pub grub' you may think it'll be, there's also a decent vegetarian and vegan selection. Food allergy and intolerance is catered for exceptionally well with kitchen surfaces cleaned before prep.Prices are not super cheap nor is it particularly expensive but it is good value for money, the quality of food is evident and the free salad bar is fresh and a nice idea.Inside is clean and looks well maintained, unfortunately the outside is looking tired and could do with some cosmetic attention.The parking is plenty and free, it's also nice to see an electric car charge point (this is a BP 50kw point).
