Katherine's Gift & Coffee Bar in Derby

The staff were great and the coffee was delightful. We didn't have any cake (dieting!) but if you did you'd be spoiled for choice.We now (2022) go several times a week and have done for years. I can say in all honesty that I've never had a bad coffee or any food that wasn't top class.Their afternoon teas are terrific value for money and really good, being freshly prepared.

I had a fabulous time at Katherine’s for my 30th Birthday party. The team were amazing from start to finish, Sarah invited me to the venue a month before to plan my party and have a look at the space. A big shout out to Sarah and Victoria for an amazing grazing table, making sure that everyone was enjoying themselves and smooth running of the event! Thank you so much! 🥂🍰🌸

Precent private afternoon tea party, the good is delicious and the hosting and staff excellent. The room cosy and perfect for 20 or so people. We have also been during week just for a drink and whilst it is a smallish room if it is rammed and does feel loud ish the food and drink make up for it and would recommend.

Food, drinks, selection excellent. But the place is very loud to sit in. Not much on the walls, so every sound bounces off them, making it 3 times louder, so if it's just a little bit busy, you can barely hear your own voice.

I visited Katherine's today (18 Aug 21) for afternoon tea with my Mum and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff are so attentive and positive, the food is delicious and it is the best afternoon tea that I have tasted, so fresh and presented so well, nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommendation.

Really great staff, very accomodating. Cakes and bakes are amazing!! For 3 adults and 3 children, the bill was £29 - but that was 2 speciality milkshakes, a coffee, a latte, a speciality hot chocolate, 3 slices of baked goodies and a fruitshoot!! Well worth the money

Lovely bustling coffee shop with loads of nice hand made style gifts for sale :) friendly staff, great service, great coffee and amazing cakes! 👍🏼 Would recommend booking at a weekend/busy times. There is a little parking out front and plenty on quiet side streets bear by.

Lovely, friendly, local place to meet friends and enjoy a reasonable priced coffee.There is a warm and inviting feel about the place and some very useful party and gift ideas available to.Katherines is a great addition to this area with no other service like this available.Walking distance to the local doctors surgery, park and corner shop - there is no wonder why Katherines is always vibrant.The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. There is plenty on offer including gluten and dairy free snacks.Outdoor seating and additional seating in the rear.Very enjoyable first visit and I look forwards to coming again

Absolutely LOVE it here! It is a bit expensive but definitely worth it. They cater for all ages & do afternoon teas which I have done four of for my nieces birthdays ranging from 3yrs to 13yrs. There is an 'adult' one & a unicorn one for younger children. However, I gather that they will try to cater for your childs ' theme as much as possible.Staff are really helpful & friendly with table service provided.There is a gift shop that sells some unique items as well as cards & bath bombs.It's an amazing treat for adults & children alike, I highly recommend a visit here.
