"Kava Coffee Bar is a modern café bar with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. Serving a fantastic range of cakes and sweet treats, our house special eggs Benedict’s, warming homemade soups with toasted ciabatta, plus a selection of panini’s served with a side salad and crisps. Kava thenTransitions into a lively bar on Friday evening serving delicious house special cocktails, a variety of gins, locally brewed real ale, along with a selection of tasty wines and beers. In the evenings we serve sharing platters of meats cheeses and veggies, nachos and olives for everyone to enjoy before 9pm whilst listening to our live acoustic artists. Me and my partner had the eggs Benedict (royale and the breakfast bacon/mush/toms)Came hot, tasted absolutely beautiful! Atmosphere was cosy and really relaxing and staff were really friendly and happy to help! Would definitely recommend and will be returning soon!

Absolutely brilliant. We had my daughters baby shower here today and I was very impressed. The food was plentiful and delicious but the stars of the day were the fabulous staff, they were absolutely amazing. Liz and the team were helpful and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Even helped with putting the decorations up. Thankyou Kava for a wonderful venue, food and service. Would 100% recommend you to all my family and friends.

Came here for the first time today for food and drink.Everything was great, food was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere.Want to shout out to an incredibly welcoming and pleasant member of staff (I think her name was louise? Long dark hair).She made the whole experience of visiting for the first time easier. She was most helpful with directions, had a great manner and a cracking sense of humour. An asset to the team! Having worked in the hospitality sector for many years prior to retirement, I can always spot a naturally personable member of staff from one who forces a smile. Will certainly be back!

Lovely place , nice decor , good music 🎶 and not a bad espesso , friendly service , shame I didn't have time to try some food as it looks delicious, if I was in Derby again I would most definitely visit . Thank you

Kava Coffee Bar its a lovely coffee place. Clean, food is great plenty of choice. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Took daughter for an afternoon tea it was nice but not worth £15 a head. Plenty of cakes not enough sarnies. I would still go back to eat there. Evening opening too. Great place.

A cosy and very trendy cafe/bar with live music at weekends. Lovely coffee and a relaxed vibe make it a place to go if you are in the area, worth booking in advance. Wonderful friendly service. Enjoy. M
