Le Bistrot Pierre in Derby

Had a lovely meal as usual but on getting our bill I noticed that they had charged my wife 0.95p for her gluten free bread, where as my normal bread was complimentary. Its not the cost that's the issue but being charged for having a disability/intolerance. The manager was apologetic but did nothing but say "that's the company rules". What's tomorrow's going to be: A £1 charge for a large print menu because you only have one eye, or how about a £2 charge for wheelchair users in case they have to move a chair. How about a £5 charge for anyone with a nut intolerance. Come on Pierre Bistro, do the right thing and stop punishing people with intolerances....SHAME ON YOU.Check your bills and complain.

I dont often go for this style of food but I'm pleasantly surprised. The food was so tasty and our evening out was really nice. Recommend this restaurant highly.

First time at this restaurant. Her in doors arranged it and I was not really looking forward to it but I must say I was impressed with the food and the service. We had a 3 course set meal and drinks and at a reasonable cost . Will we go again ? You bet we will

Very expensive, not a lot of food. For the money not worth it.Menus were given out and it stated about items marked with a particular symbol were so many courses for £X, however when it came to the bill this was apparently not the case it was only till 6pm. This was not apparent on the menu given (It may have been hidden in the small print who knows)Anyway food arrived portions very small, egg overdone on fishcake.No cider on even though on menu, not everyone likes beer/larger or wants wine.Average food for an expensive price

Excellent service, great atmosphere. One the best rare rump steaks I've eaten. This french provincial restaurant is as good as you'll find. Brilliant value for money too. Well done Bistro Pierre!

Absolutely gorgeous food as always! Its one of our favourite places to eat! And there saver menu for 2 or 3 courses is an absolute bargain! We'll definitely be back. I had fried calamari. Chicken roast dinner and ice cream 😍

Visited for my mums birthday and have to say ,the food was fantastic! We chose the 3 courses for £14.95 and paid extra for our drinks so it was great value for money,the service was great and it has a lovely atmosphere, can't wait to go back again!!
