Lorentes in Derby

Booked for 230 and requested a certain table. Both were met easily. Very friendly staff with a warm casual atmosphere. The menu and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant as the food is very tasty and out of the 4 dishes each we had I couldn't pick a favourite. I'll definitely return when in Derby again. 10/10

This place is honestly so lovely!! The staff were so friendly and recommended the best dishes and portion sized for our group. Every single item we ordered was so tasty, and arrived quickly and fresh and hot from the kitchen. Definitely will be back!!!

Delicious food that arrived quickly, felt very cosy and busy with a lovely friendly atmosphere. Generous portions, we had three tapas per person and were stuffed.Note, not vegetarian friendly (unsurprisingly). Not wheelchair friendly (due to the building)

It's not often you leave a review while you're still at the table. Fantastic location, ambience, service and food. Absolutely faultless from start to finish. If you're looking for the best restaurant in Derby, stop looking! Thank you Lorentes, amazing!!

I think the price is over for very small dishes. We paid 50£ but still feel hungry. And the staff is very disconnected. Even we had to go to the counter to ask for the bill because nobody even checked if we were ok with the food. The food is alright but a bit salty and not worthy the price.

Eat here for the second time last night and had an equally great experience as the first. Both times the service has been fantastic and the food was perfect both times.Lovely, well priced drinks and a great selection of food. The Cod bites and honey Chorizo are gorgeous, highly recommend.Always recommend this place to others, thank you Lorentes we will be back again!

Enjoyed our tapas night earlier at Lorentes. Portions are generous so pick your favourite dishes and don’t over order. Had the half portion of jamon iberico (complimentary pieces of cheese) which were delicious. Jamon kind of melted your month. Chorizo in honey, potato bravas and padron peppers were decent. Not a massive fan of the croquetas as the fillings are too mushy for my person taste. Pork cheek was strongly recommended.Service was good and attentive.

Me and my wife went there for the first time on Sunday and despite not having a booking, we were sited at the table at the back. We went for starters and mains which were delicious, so we will definitely return for more great food!
