Marks & Spencer Cafe in Derby

Called into the cafe today, hardly any people in. More than 50% of the tables were empty yet still waited 35 minutes plus to order a coffee and pay.

They seem to be struggling for staff , it's really busy at the weekend and always have an amazing display of fresh flowers , there security man was also very polite welcoming and helpful

Hi me and my friend went into the derby store in the footwear department and was greeted by the most wonderful women called Sheila she is the most amazing sales consultant I ever met she could not do enough for us and I noticed it was not just us it was ever customer every store should have a Sheila if every Some one should be recognised for her work this lady should and I hope the store do she is s credit to the Derby store Sheila I will just say my friend had the best time in Buxton the shoes bag and top where great thank you for your help me and my friend Just wanted to scoop her up and take her for lunch see you again Sheila thank you you are brilliant well worth a visit to the store if not just to say hello to Sheila she will lift your sprits go girl Lynn and Elaine

Harrassing strore!!! I can't even express my feelings. Appalling service. Using untrained security guard who are untrained in basics of communication and do not have the appropriate language skills to express. Store manager could not provide his name either. My 8 months old baby was looked at and constantly followed around the sale department where I chose a winter hat and mittens fir my little one. Then paid for it on the same level. The security guy following me all the way, could not see me standing for 5/7 mins in a long queue to pay for the item yet decided to to stop me on the lower ground and ask if I paid for the "cap". We are talking about 1 item which was clearly seen and not put away in a basket, 1 item that was Clearly paid for. This is a harassment that left me in tears, in front of everyone...ALL THAT FOR £6.49!!! I'm still in tears feeling like a piece of shi....that would walk around stealing clothes for my baby! I would never put my foot in this store again regardless of the quality.😭😭😭😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Today i called in store to query a notification i had received about a change in the due date for a few gifts we ordered . The lady i spoke to was very reassuring and helpful enough to take some details and offer to contact us upon the arrival of our delivery .I was really surprised by this and thanked her before heading off to work . Then 2 hours later we had a call from the lady to inform us . We are so grateful and impressed that this member of staff went way above and beyond to helpus thank you soo much marks n spencers derby great work 👌

Awful Gluten Free section for a city centre establishment. Less than half the size of the small Derbyshire town of Ashbourne. Should be ashamed of themselves. Massively disappointing,

Paid for an item if clothing and the nice lady working on the till said one of the Sparks offers was a free cup of coffee. When I went to the restaurant I was refused the free drink because I hadn't gone online and registered it. How petty can you get.......? I will not be using their restaurant again.

Another negative review M&S, no jacket potatoes, same issue different store. Pay your HGV drivers a decent wage or I'll have to shop elsewhere!

Really felt safe due to the procedures they have in place during the pandemic. Staff very efficient and friendly, stock good quality and bright colours this year, and more fashionable too. Bought a load of stuff and very happy with it. Homewares great too. We t today again for menswear, and happy to see 25% reductions, fantastic!!

Good selection of good looking clothes. It is also really cheap for the quality of the clothes. The staff are all really helpful and nice.
