Used for the first time, excellent food will be using many more timesTheir pancake rolls are exceptional how they used to be in the 70's plenty of filling and not all bean sprouts like other Chinese takeaways.

Perfect local takeaway. Food is lovely & consistently good. Lots of veggie choices. Pity not open for lunch time but totally understandable due to location. Top hygiene rating too!

Had a delicious meal last night from The Oakwood Chef. Made a phone order & told 15 min wait. Food was ready on time . Received free crackers & free spring rolls as spent over £30. All the food was freshly cooked, piping hot & the best chinese I’ve had for a while . Order inc crispy chilli beef, s&s king prawn balls , beef in pepper, ribs in peking, fried chicken in Kung Po , mixed starter, egg fried rice. Large portion sizes too . Will now be my regular chinese takeout as very impressed

First time I have ordered, the Food was really great and not too salty, delivered nice and hot, the delivery lady was really polite and friendlyThank you and I will order again soon

Went to order for the first time, the offer stated on there photos when you order them they go up in price apparently it's not a fixed price. Charges for card payment ect getting aftted on at the end of the call. Wanted to get the order through and correct and the lady on the phone just couldn't be bothered and hung up the phone

The duck didn't taste well. It was probably imported duck from China. I tried roast duck in China Town in Birmingham. The skins were much crispy and meats tasted very well. I only came across good roast duck in Derby in the small village of Melbourne, A very well established old takeaway still maintained traditional Chinese cooking.
