Oodles Chinese in Derby

I had high hopes but was really disappointed. Ordered vegetable rice, vegetables noodles & teriyaki chicken + vegetable spring rolls.The spring rolls were missing altogether.The box was just all mixed together and covered in generic chilli sauce. The chicken was just battered pieces, no teriyaki, and everything was just covered in the same basic too-spicy sauce you can buy in any supermarket.For £17 for one person, its way overpriced and really disappointing.Rickshaw in town is far better.

Ordered noodles egg fried rice with bbq chicken and salt and pepper, way to spicy, I rang them back as I expected to taste bbq chicken that's not spicy then some tasty salt and pepper chicken but they said the salt and pepper chicken made it spicy 🤣 really salt and pepper chicken don't have chilli in it, go to a real Chinese then you will know.. my food is covered in chilli sauce my noodles and rice soaked it up what a waste of money.. if ut is the salt and pepper that makes it spicy then call it salt and chill chicken, no exspect to have spicy chicken when ordering salt and pepper absolute joke! And not to many I have 3 pieces of crispy chicken, my fella had no crispy chicken.

Amazing place to start off with. The customer service was beyond brilliant and the food was perfection. Will definable be buying from this place again

Ordered two medium boxes and after 1 hour or so waiting for delivery (which I must stress wasn’t the problem) the order turns up incorrect (missing a whole ingredient!). I rang Oodles and spoke to a young lady who apologised but in the first instance after speaking to her manager said they’d be unable to send another box out as they’re short on drivers and so I’d have to come collect…this is after I’ve already paid £3.79 for delivery plus £2 odd for “service”. Well the service was far from in existence! I was then told by the same lady that they’ll arrange another box for me but I’ll have to wait for delivery, as such, I requested a refund instead and was told this isn’t possible but the next time I order, I can have a free box. The next time I order….I don’t think that will be happening any time soon! It went from bad to worse after speaking to the manager who asked me where I ordered through. After advising it was Uber Eats, I was told to pursue Uber Eats for a refund…I didn’t realise they kept all the monies from the sale?! Essentially the manager refused to take ownership and also refused to send another box out as well because they’re unable to deal with issues from orders relating to Uber eats, completely not understanding that the issue was that they made the order wrong!Bottom line, it’s a shambles at best. Your order almost certainly turns up late more often than not, and luke warm. Should your order end up being wrong, don’t waste your time pursuing it, the business just doesn’t care for your custom. I’ve given this place the benefit of the doubt before but will not be making that mistake again. And just be careful when taking your food out of the bag as you’ll often find the box covered in grease. I will say that not all Oodles chains are running these poor standards as I have had good experiences with other chains of this business.

Had chilli chicken,egg fried rice,medium at £9 ...boxis small,and mainly watery rice,not good value compared to Rickshaw in Derbion,tasted ok and very hard to park!!

Lovely tasty food and nice staff and property.Went here today after seeing it on 'rate my takeaway' and i needed some lunch.Normanton is hard to park in so bear that in mind when going. Nice friendly staff (Uzman) and a clean restaurant, its all open plan you can see how nice it all is and they have a 5 star hygiene rating.I had the No2 large hot chilli mix with drink for £7, plenty in the box i didn't think it would be much but it weighed a ton and I'm a fat git and still full at time if writing (5pm). Lots of meat on top of the noodles and rice. It was all fresh and recently prepared, it certainly tasted that way so good quality.Malaysian chicken, amazing totally perfect.Salt pepper chicken, nice but not really my thing.Noodles, nice but not really tasty, i can do nicer noodles at home.Egg fried rice, same as noodles really, nice but i can cook tastier more authentic myself.Value for money? YesTasty? YesGood portion size? YesHard to park nearby? YesStaff? Friendly and helpfulClean? YesDo i want to rush back and spend my mortgage money on food? NoWill i go again when i want a treat? YesMy tastes might differ to yours, but either way this is on my list to go back to again.

Tasted Great, Very fast delivery, for me maybe a little high delivery charge (2.50 on Just eat and I'm only 1m away) , But generally Great food, I'd only order one sauce option per Box as obviously it will be infused into everything. :) Unfortunately a few hours later paying 11.50 for One Tub made me order more food from some someone else, there is No value for money here the delivery charge and the Basic charge Delsolves the Value so I reflect my Score I'm Afraid...
