Papaya Thai Restaurant in Derby

Wow what an absolutely amazing place to visit i couldnt fault it, food was brilliant service fantastic, staff amazing, i did visit for lunch so it was a quiter time, i do also recommend you book as inside isnt very big.This hidden gem is situated in the cities centre definitely worth a try and great value for money well done guys i was very impressed cant wait for my next visit

Randomly chose to eat here when visiting Derby with my son and his girlfriend, having just moved to Ripley from Brighton and I can honestly say it was the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant in my life! Everything was perfect and could not be faulted in anyway. From the minute we walked in we were so happy we chose to eat lunch here, the decor was amazing and the staff were so attentive, friendly and helpful and the food was just first class. It was top quality and so fresh and tasty. And to top it all it was so reasonably priced with the lunch time offer of two courses for £10. I will definitely be making regular visits to try everything on the menu. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. You have to eat here if you like Thai food and are in the Derby area. Do not go anywhere else. Thai Boran is simply the best!

We didn't book but were quickly found a table, the staff were lovely and really looked after us. We ordered the Boran set menu for two and it was amazing, the tom yum soup was the best I've had outside of Thailand. We will be back soon Chris and Sarah x

We went for the taste Thai set menu. Every course was delicious and very reasonably priced. Staff were attentive but not rushing us. Would definitely recommend! (Only got a picture of the starters)

Another wonderful meal at Thai Boran. We always have the most deliciously fresh food. You're definitely not in and out of this restaurant as each meal is prepared from scratch. So be prepared to wait for your food. We never mind this as we like to not feel rushed and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere to chat and catch up. Thank you to our lovely waiter and waitress. Food is unbelievable. One of the best Thais I have been to! No 1 curry is a must try! Friendly staff, great atmosphere and lovely decoration

Lovely meal here today, set menu which was great value and super tasty. Not the fastest service so take a relaxed attitude and you will be rewarded with friendly staff, nice surroundings and great food. I will be visiting again soon and recommend it.
