Pepitos in Derby

We went to Pepitos last night as a party of 7 to celebrate a birthday. It was perfect from beginning to end. Staff are so friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble for them, they went the extra mile to ensure we were looked after. The food was amazing we all enjoyed our meal. Tasty delicious and wholesome makes me want to go back for more! The sombrero hat birthday surprise was an excellent treat. 5 star all the way very happy customers.

Not been here for few years. Lovely meal last night for son's birthday, 3 adults 2 children.. lovely courteous staff and food was delicious..won't leave it so long til next time.

Really good Mexican. Full of flavor and not stingy with the protein. Kids menu also really good and generous. Big up for the environmental friendly packaging and take away cutlery.

The best Mexican, if not in the best restaurant in general in Derby. Went for my birthday and I couldn't ask for a better place to celebrate a special once-in-a-year day. Zenge goes above and beyond to accommodate (mintless mojito is still better than no mojito! ), food was definitely beyond my capacity in terms of portion size, but it was so tasty that I finished it all - first time ever tried a beef chimichanga so soft and crunchy at the same time. Will definitely be coming back.

If your heart is set on tapas, enchiladas, tacos etc, there's no reason not to drop by Pepitos, a superior Mexican restaurant that's about a 5-minute walk from Derby Midland station. Rustic, low-key décor, a menu of familiar dishes, civil prices, and friendly, competent staff make this one of the best places for eating-out in Derby. The head waiter was very courteous and diplomatic, and he easily resolved a "situation" that I had with a family who didn't like me making photos of the place. I had an almost too sumptuous dinner there in October, and will happily return when back in the city. Recommended!

Very tasty chimichanga with paprika fries, I really enjoyed it and very filling. Lovely setting and friendly staff too. If I lived near here this would definitely be a regular spot. Recommended!
