Myself and 5 friends eat at Revolucion de Cuba last night. Each couple order 6 dishes and drinks. We had the Jerk Chicken, Prawns, Beef Tacos, Cajun Mushrooms & Pork Belly. It was absolutely delicious! Service was excellent and food came quick. Atmosphere was good with a live band too! Would visit again and recommend to anyone eating out in Derby !

Really great environment with lots of rum drinks (which I'll get to in a moment). The nachos were amazing! I live in Mexico and honestly I want more of the nachos from Revolución. The spicing of the beef was perfect. The staff knew a lot about rum and were trained well!My only problem is that the company made some absurd decision to stop selling as much rum and shift over to more of a whisky place. That doesn't make sense. Latin America is all about rum and there's a demand. I went there because I was recommended the place as a rum bar. They had some great rums still but stopped stocking the fancy stuff which I wanted to try.Either way, the place was very enjoyable and the size was shocking on entry. I was not expecting it to be as big as it was. There are multiple sitting areas. There's the large public one, there's the VIP bar area and there is a good sized relaxed area upstairs. There could even be more that I'm missing.I'm definitely glad I went and would go back again! I just hope they stock more rums for a rum themed bar!

My newly discovered lovely way to end my weekend on Sunday evening at the bar - listening to beautiful live music by Sugar Tree band, dancing salsa with friends and enjoying 2 for 1 tapas and cocktails 🍸🍹 A Sunday evening can't be better 😉

Tuesday tapas, been quite a few times before and it’s been great but a bit disappointed tonight. No red wine!!! Noooo red wine in a pub!! I can’t quite believe it 😆. No patatas bravas, or chips, not that I’d have chips normally with tapas. Had bread and oil and I’m 99% sure the “balsamic” was malt vinegar by the colour and taste ☹️

Another great night here, again very busy due to it being a Saturday night and quite a few tables were booked up but you can still find somewhere to sit eventually. What i need to stipulate folks is it is a cashless venue now so don't foget your bank cards 😀

Visited this afternoon we did not book ahead but was not a problem, the service was perfect could not ask for anymore, Good value for money we had the tapas but have to say we have had a lot better this is the reason for 3 stars

Had a works Christmas party here in December and had an absolute fantastic evening. The staff were brilliant, helpful and friendly. Great at organizing a big party but also really interactive and great at recommending drinks and foo to try. The food (Christmas Tapas) was delicious and the drinks (mostly cocktails) were amazing! The team had a fantastic evening and we're already planning coming back and I'm coming back with my family to try more of the food! Thanks for a brilliant evening

Large range of cocktails, which are all strong, tasty and served beautifully. The food, especially tapas, is nice and perfect for a smaller meal. Great service and the tables are always clean and tidy. Music can sometimes be sightly louder than desired, especially in the afternoon.
