Stenson Fish Bar in Derby

Been a customer at Zanfish for many years as live locally and most of the time never had a problem until tonight.Not many people queuing up yet took nearly 15 mins to get served. More staff than customers but they are more concerned about sorting out online ordersEven before they started doing online orders when customers would be queuing out the doors never ever had to wait so long to be served.I know online orders are the way forward now due to covid but come on Zanfish give priority to those who actually come to your shop

Excellent service great food Brilliant portion sizes i could nt really fault it The food was nice chips werent oily very nice one thing which slightly let it down the canned drinks were very expensive hence why only 4stars

Had fish and chips tonight collected from Stenson Road today Friday 10th September round 6.15pm.I am a regular and usually I love the fish and chips but tonight they were disgraceful.The fish in batter was so overcooked that you could not cut the batter and you could not get the white fish off the batter.The chips weren't cooked properly either.Such a shame but I will not be going again for a long time unless I am really desparate!

have been here regularly for years...never got disappointed...simply brilliant....excellent food and friendly staff...If I could ..I would give 6 stars ..

I take food on Wednesday one large chips and one small chips l got 3 Haddock fish one fish was not cooked properly it was fo gress and pink inside l won't be going there agine you cook things properly. Spent money on it .

So I’ve moved to derby recently & thought I’d give zen fish a go. First time was great. Unfortunately it was short lived as it’s food does not live up to expectations - even our German Shepard turns his away from good from here! Dry tasteless - unprofessional for sending food out still in the original wrights packaging! No thanks avoid at all costs

Delicious fish & chips something we Indians have enjoyed for over 7000 years. This place never fails us but today we are afraid my son asked "Dad these chips have been reheated haven't they?" I had to agree. They were not of the same freshly fried chips we expect of Zan Fish. Can you taste the difference between Cod and Haddock? Neither can we lol

Lovely food here. My family has had the fish, pies, chicken kebabs and fish cakes, with chips of course! Always well cooked, good quality food. Never disappointed. Staff are efficient but friendly. Nice clean chippy!

Fab Chippie to visit in Littleover!Visited on 20/3/2019 just after 5pm & 30/3/2019 around 8pmThey are selling a family deal @£21.This include:2 large fish (haddock or cod— normally £5.1 each)2 fish cakes/sausages1 large chips (long box: close to the length of a keyboard)4 sides (curry, mushy peas, gravy etc)1 large bottle of CokeWhat’s not to love?Shared it between 3 ladies (age from 20s to 80s) and 1 gentleman :)They also service kebab (under £6 with Salad) and hummus wraps.Serving time was around 10-15 mins.The store is quite tidy and neat.Card payment are also accepted over £5.A bit daunting to find somewhere to park (got to carefully negotiate your way into the carpark as you cut through the traffic on Blagreaves Lane when travelling from Stenson Road), but it’s worth it!
