Sun Waa in Derby

Just had our first order from them. We had chicken chow mein and it was really nice and the mock seaweed was amazing. The delivery to Mackworth was 20 minutes. I'm impressed with them and will definitely order from them again.

The best chinese takeaway around our area. We go every week. Always hot, delicious and good sized portions. Prices are average for a decent takeaway. Usually takes about 15 minutes for it to be ready for us to collect. Staff are lovely, helpful and polite. Definitely recommend. Only downside is they only take cash - no card payments but otherwise no issues what so ever.

O.k. food but every couple of months the greedy owners hike up the prices.Meals work out very expensive compared to other Chinese takeaways. : (

One of the best chinese takeaways I've tried. On the pricey side, but well worth the extra. Allergy aware too which is a bonus. Yum!!

Really disappointed with the customer service.We ordered from here a couple weeks ago after ordering in the past when at a friends house.The food was lovely, and is one of the best we’ve had.Unfortunately tonight’s experience has really let them down. I ordered again using their website and paid by card. I then got a text to say my order was cancelled as we were too far away.Our postcode DE65 is an area covered on their website and they even took the extra amount to cover the miles.I called to question as was told the driver said it was too far last time and he wouldn’t go again. Why weren’t we told this? And why couldn’t the restaurant call me and discuss this, I could have gone to collect. Instead I’ve had to order from someone else and my refund will take 3-5 days!!!

Absolutely shocking. Ordered at 7pm, got given a delivery time of 8:10pm. At 8:45pm rang to ask where my order was to be told that it wasn't even cooked but would be with us by 9:30pm. At 9:45pm we had a message saying our food had been delivered so we tried to ring them and no one picked up after a lot of ringing. My partner then drove to the takeaway and was told the order had left them with the driver. Got told they would make a fresh order to be taken away in 10 minutes which it still took over 15 minutes but at 10:45pm, 3hours and 45minutes after placing the order, we had our food at home.And we weren't the only ones to have to physically drive to pick up our order. Other people were walking in to collect due to a lack of receiving their order and no one answering the phone.

These guys are amazing, the food is always really hot, tasty and on time (if not early!). If its just us or friends (pre-lockdown) everyone is always really impressed. Good quality and reasonable prices with great delivery. Please use them! They are great. (P.S. I don't know them at all in case you were wondering).
