Tamarind in Derby

Great Indian restaurant. We dropped in here last night after wanting to revisit (last time we came we were quite drunk) and even for a Monday night there were plenty of people eating and there was a very good vibe. Food was on point and the service was great.

The best takeaway Indian in my opinion. Had Tandoori king prawn Dhansak with pilau rice and plain naan. Food delivered within 30 minutes, piping hot. Absolutely gorgeous meal.

Haven't visited for a while since we moved out of the area but was back to for family's birthday.Was very busy and so the wait was a little longer, however food was great, staff were great, would highly recommend.

Took our reservation but didn't have a table when we turned up! Bay of Bengal in Borrowash was great though!

Booked a table for 6 people at 7.30 about a week in advance, turn up 5 mins early, nobody spoke to us ,we were completely ignored for 15 mins, when asked about our booking they pointed to a table who were on their starters and told that's our table, we replayed they will be ages, the reply was they are fast eaters, we said we will give it a miss they said ok, completely not bothered, there were also 2 other groups waiting or a table, I will not bother again

Nice little indian restaurant a hidden gem tucked away food was excellent and i couldn't find one fault with it, service was good and staff were very polite, i went on a Monday so it was quite quiet. There was lots of different variety of dishes on the menu. They also do a mid week special there so its worth asking prices are really good to they also do a takeaway service

We’ve recently just moved to the area and have been here quite a few times now. The food is great! Really tasty. The staff are so friendly and welcoming too. Will definitely be going back! Definitely our new favourite Indian restaurant 👍🏼

Went with a party of 10. Excellent, friendly service and the food was pretty good as well. Good portions and very tasty. Decent price too. Recommended.

Lovely food, comfortable surroundings and great service all added up to an enjoyable birthday meal.
