We tool a trip here for a Sunday lunch with the kids, the food was quick to be served and for the price, pretty decent. However, what could have been a great overall experience was let down by what feels a very run down pub, and the ridiculously loud music belting out from the kitchen, with little consideration for customers.

Great service and excellent food as always, highly recommend. Kids eat free throughout the holidays is a bonus. 3 x kids breakfast and 2 x full English for less than £10, BARGAIN. We were served by April who was excellent.

Do not go here for the softplay; it looks and smells like it's never cleaned. The children's toilets smelt terrible, and I had to send my food back because it was over microwaved and inedible. This was my first and last time here.

Stopped for breakfast. Toast (done to perfection) with honey, and a sausage butty. Ideal, good value, nice surroundings, and the staff were lovely.

On our arrival, the premises was obviously busy with a lot of people at tables, however, we were still able to easily find a table. The table and seating area was clean, tidy and well stocked with menus and condiments. It was order at the bar on our visit which was no issue and the staff were more than happy to provide an alternative menu for dietary needs.Food came in a reasonable timeframe, with it being hot, well portioned and very tasty.Staff were polite, friendly and even though busy didn't let this phase them, still carried out table checks and even gave a friendly goodbye at the end. Will certainly visit again.

Health and safety measures are neglected in the soft play area. Not safe for small kids. They allow kids up to 1.46m and nobody watches and warn them while they run around and hit smaller kids.Edit: Your response of ' we meet all the requirements and it is not our fault' is the main reason for me to write a negative review.Your manager said 'these things happen' instead 'sure we will investigate and take actions for kids not be hurt again'. Clearly, the fact that you meet all the requirements do not mean everything was done for kids to be safe. Therefore, I am warning other parents to be careful because you would not do anything about the safety gaps I noticed. You are talking like my son fell down slowly on the floor. He fell down on his head. His front, nose, around his mouth was bleeding. There should be a soft mat at the bottom of the soft ball pool stairs. Eventhough kids fall without being pushed, they can be hurt by hitting the floor.

Went for a meal ordered from walk in Christmas meal menu. Ordered buttermilk turkey roast potatoes ( fried few times) was dark and dry look taste worse. Turkey over fried. I was really disappointed. But staff was nice and were trying there best under these circumstances. I have been there few times always ordered fish and chips and was good.

Nice meal, enjoyed the food. Had to wait a while to be seen in initially, but was shown to table by cheerful member of staff, greeted nicely by duty manager and main course arrived quite quickly. Ordered desserts (only 1 adult and 2 children's) but it took over 3/4 of a hour to arrive. Will definitely go back again. Not our first time there and will definitely not be our last visit. Popped into soft play area afterwards with our 3 and 1 year olds, left (grudgingly in our 3 year olds case) with 2 tired happy kids.

Celebrated our 27th wedding anniversary 💕 lovely food, drinks, and staff were friendly and helpful, quick service, although we did hear someone complaining too slow, but we're still in a pandemic, and they were good at clearing and cleaning.

Play area outside and Indoor soft play which is about £3.50 -£4 each, also few kids £1 surprise ball machine and grabber machine and separate dining for soft play, u can eat and drink without leaving kids unsupervised, brilliant and good pricing on meals
