The Book Cafe in Derby

Ordered myself a rump steak sandwich with creamy mushroom sauce. Didn’t disappoint me at all. Steak cooked medium rare which gives it nice texture, fries are lovely, nice and crispy.Located in a very nice building, high celling. Menu is very various. The staff was lovely and welcoming. Quick serving as well.

Surprisingly large and very popular city centre cafe. A good range of food and drink with the emphasis on quality over quantity. It is also licensed so you can have an alcoholic drink with your meal. Despite its city centre location it has a very chilled out vibe. Enjoy. M

I’ve visited The Book Café with my boyfriend twice now, and both times were exceptional! The food is reasonably priced, delicious and well presented. I can highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken! ✨ The café itself is clean and quirky. I love the ability to order online and receive my food quickly. If you’re out and about in Derby and need somewhere to eat, The Book Café isn’t one to miss!

Without any doubt the best breakfast and coffee I've had in a long time. Really interesting decor, comfy and clean. Brilliant service and friendly staff. I couldn't find any thing bad to say. Awesome, thank you so much!

Popped in for a luchtime bite to eat. Excellent and nicely presented food in a pleasant well run cafe bar environment. Being able to order from table by an app that actually works is a big plus. Highly recommended.

We were heading to Wetherspoons for breakfast and stopped here in the off chance. Lovely place. Very good coffee and good food. Staff friendly. Recommended. If you haven't been yet then give it a go

I came to visit 'The BookCafé' earlier on today for a suprise afternoon tea. We were served by Sabrina who was so lovely!. The customer service was wonderful and I felt very welcome from the start. I would definitely recommend this place as the food was also delightful and enjoyable!. If your looking for somewhere relaxed and inviting to eat then I would suggest going there :)

Lovely atmosphere, staff were very friendly and helpful. They weren't doing food the day we went and their app says it's closed but it wasn't! Great interior and unique menu items- I had the Jaffa cake hot chocolate
