The Bubble Inn Pub and Restaurant in Derby

Staying at local Four Oaks campsite. Treated ourselves to an excellent Greek inspired gastro feast. Great welcome by staff, & nothing too much trouble. Service spot on, well presented tasty dishes, with enough to satisfy my appetite! Waitress Rhianna so professional, efficient, cheerful & sociable!Certainly recommend The Bubble Inn!

Lively place with Mediterranean based food which was excellent.. good selection of beers & wines. Tables in & outside.. gets very busy in the sunshine. Dog friendly & ample parking. Lots of families here.

Food was great, young staff that weren't overly interested in helping. Would go again, lovely setting near canal.

Great location near the canal. Interesting interior in what looks to have been a barn. Toilets could do with a smarten up. Some old awards on display which no longer have any relevance. Enjoyed a few beers. Dogs are welcome.

Bit of a let down for us after the good reviews we read. Came to collect a car from across the way and this place caught my eye, so went for some dinner. Squid was undercooked and very tasteless, chicken strips were clearly from frozen, 2 mains we had were the chicken kebabs and were extremely bland and again, I suspect from frozen. Didn't hang around for long and probably won't go back. The staff that took care of us were very good though.

Service wasn't very good today. Had to go to the bar to tell them we was ready to order. Got our food and didn't see anyone else again then had to go go to the bar to let them know we was ready to pay. Had carvery and meals from main menu which arrived promptly after ordering and carvery was nice but has been much nicer in the past.

Not good , waited 1 hour 40 minutes for meals. Never got asked if we wanted a drink when shown to the table got asked how i wanted the mix grill cooked 1 hour after ordering.emailed management with the complaint’s had no response . Staff appear to need more customer service training but were trying there best

Wonderful evening and well worth a full 5 stars as we genuinely could not fault anything.The Bubble Inn was very busy most of the evening (photos taken late on to get images without people).Atmosphere was lovely, friendly and very welcoming.Staff were all friendly without being intrusive. Service was excellent, without making you feel hurried.Food was first class. Our party went for a variety of starters and then Greek dishes as our main courses. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Everything was authentic and served as you would expect to find in a good quailty restaurant in Greece.The Bubble will be added to our list of favourite restaurants and we look forward to trying the the different dishes available on our future visits.The menu covers everything from Greek dishes to steaks, pies and burgers. An extensive specials board was also on offer with some tempting seafood dishes.

A lovely relaxing evening with gorgeous, tasty food at a reasonable price. The staff were very attentive and courteous. It made for a very nice night and very full belly’s
