Fabulous place, fabulous team. Just had an evening with great friends for cocktails We’re back Thursday for pie night, if you’ve not been you don’t know what you’re miss😊

Nicely cooked and presented, the Sea Bas was devine. I would recommend this place for group or solo dining.. The staff are pleasent and helpful.

A great little find in Spondon . 3 of us went to eat early Sunday and all had different dishes and all were really great, freshly prepared , piping hot and quick service. Was a quiet evening but lovely atmospheric music playing and along with decorative ceiling paintings it really is a lovely place to eat. Will definitely go again. Very friendly welcome and service.

Quickly losing my faith in this place. Used to love dining here but the last 4 experiences have not been favourable. Don't know what's happening here. Such a shame.

Very disappointed with our recent order from the restaurant. We have had a few orders from the restaurant (first one was brilliant) but each time since the quality of the food was getting progressively worse. My recent order was the chicken parmigiana which I’ve had at the restaurant before. It arrived without the bed of spaghetti in a tomato sauce, as well as the salad. What arrived was essentially breaded chicken with cheese on, and a side order of boiled rice. They charged us £15 for this.My partner ordered the ultimate kebab but got the trio of kebab. When we complained to the restaurant about the chicken order, they sent us a new ultimate kebab with the wrong dip. All the meals arrived cold. When we complained again we were promised a meal voucher to eat in the restaurant. This never arrived. We chased them for this a week later and we were told it was sent out to us, and it was implied that we were trying to cheat them out of another voucher by explaining to us that they track the numbers on the voucher so that they can only be used once. We were promised again it would be sent out to us, but another week has gone by without this arriving. This was once one of our favourite restaurants/takeaways but we won’t be eating there again after this.Below is a picture of my cold chicken parmigiana that cost £15.

Have been coming a number of years and was pleased to see a new menu. Service was great and the servers very helpful and quick. Food on the other hand was a bit disappointing compared to previous visits. Pate starter was great, the trio of kebab main I had however wasn't amazing, the best part was the naan bread, everything else was fairly bland. The dirty fries we had also should have had garlic on them, what they actually came with was garlic mayo, the sort you'd find in a kebab shop after a night out, really disappointing. Not sure what has changed but we left rather disappointed as the previous 5/6 visits over as many years were always fantastic and food was always top notch.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere. The staff and service was impeccable and the food was super tasty. Will definitely be returning.

Sunday Lunch.......DISASTER! Large family meal, no hospitality at all and extremely over priced!! Sadly, this isn't a place we will ever recommend. Professional Chef is required and someone who knows how to cook a Sunday Lunch, at least. Soda and Lime £2.60, Glass of Red £6.25, amongst the rest... 6 prawns £8.50 ish. The whole atmosphere has gone and it is bare, not sure what they are trying to do? Therefore, this family of 14 will not be returning and the one star rating, was the lowest I could put.

What a lovely place! We all enjoyed our food, the owner and previous owner were very attentive. I love the previous owner's sense of dry humour. I would definitely recommend this hidden restaurant. Thank you to the team at Clock Bistro. (Given 4 stars - we all strive for something)

A brilliant place to eat and every time we come, never disappointed. A hidden gem in Spondon!
