Lovely place. Especially round the conservatory area. Had a nice Cherry beer. Although we didn't eat the food looked lovely.

We've been here today for a slot of lunch. Absolutely amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious we both went for the special Good ol' boys Americana burger. Highly recommend

Been meaning to go for years and finally went for my birthday. I tried the venison burger which was odd but very nice. I gave it four stars as it is just my opinion that it wasn't as cosy of a pub as I expected.

We went for the Monday night pub quiz and had food whilst there. The waffles were incredible!

Kind of on the fringes of the city, but still easy to find as it's on the main road.A bit of a hidden gem, the outside looks fairly modern but quite small. However is actually fairly large with possibly one of the best beer gardens in the city. The garden is all season with a retractable roof, lighting and decent heating, it's basically another indoor room during the winter. However when the suns out it's a proper sun trap. The drinks available are all the usual suspects plus DBC real ales, DBC crafted on keg and a decent range of craft cans and bottles from UK, European and American breweries. It's not as all encompassing as Suds & Soda or The Furnace but it's a solid effort and far better than most pubs in Derby. The food is excellent with an emphasis on burgers and smoked/BBQ stuff, the dirty fries are excellent, but be warned that the firecracker chicken ones will make you sweat. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed with a broad age range of customers and a mix of individuals, couples, small groups and larger parties.Worth the walk from the city centre.

Very nice atmosphere with a lovely heated garden area. Good Drinks, but the food was disgusting. I can eat anything and my standards for a meal are not high, but I was still having a hard time finishing half of my meal. I got the potato wedges with potato, pickles and sour cream. They were unseasoned, bacon tasted old, and the whole meal was just sour and barely warm. I would go there only for a drink next time.

I go often for the Sunday roast . The roast is outstanding and generous. The pub itself has a very nice vibe. Would recommend to visit , my favourite pub in derby

Cannot fault this venue at all. Our friends wedding reception got cancelled yesterday day due to weather conditions. This pub/ restaurant allowed us to use their function room to enable us to carry on and have the celebration the newlyweds deserved. The staff were amazing throughout, they helped with decorations, put some food on and were amazing hosts throughout the night. You should be very proud of yourself !!!!

Really enjoyed our visit for food and drinks. Staff friendly, nice outdoor seating with heating. We shared homemade nachos and frickles, it was delicious and service was great. Will be back

This is a great pub, cosy inside and out. The food is nice and even better to get an unexpected discount on food and drinks mid week. Would recommend the burgers here
