The Hollybrook in Derby

We stopped here for lunch on back holiday Monday. Our starters (nachos) were served relatively quickly: it was a generous helping with lots of toppings.Unfortunately we then waited over an hour for our mains. It wasn't particularly busy. The food arrived after we went to the bar to chase. The food was quite nice and reasonably sized portions. However, there was no apology or explanation for the very long wait for food. For these reasons I would not return nor would I recommend a visit.

Bar staff were amazing, they were very pleasant, served by becca very smiley chatty lady. nothing was a problem at all for this lady. will definitely be returning. food was also very good ⭐️

Jade becca chloe Georgia and Phil were amazing couldn’t thank them enough for the brilliant time. The food was excellent the chefs cooked everything beautifully. Would recommend the hollybrook

Went here for a lunch time meeting with friends. It was a pleasant experience. I had the bacon and mushroom carbonara which was very tasty. Decent grub at decent prices. And the atmosphere was very nice as well. Would recommend.

Nice pint eventually but at first offered two thirds of pint with the reason that's all there was as the barrel was now empty. I was then offered the cloudy dregs to make up a pint. Staff need more training.

Really lovely pub, came a for a family meal and everyone enjoyed the food and drink.

Decent pub! Looks good inside, staff friendly, and plenty menu options. Couldn't get the app to work... but maybe that's just me 😅

Always a nice place for a meal and drinks. Staff really have the friendly attitude expected of them from customers. Tables decently spread apart so customers not crowding each other. Good atmosphere.

Very welcoming, well priced, good hearty pub grub. Staff go over and above to ensure everything is OK. Comfy, clean and friendly. We will be back for sure

Lovely friendly pub, helpful and friendly bar staff. The food was really good, hot and well presented and quick service. All covid rules are in place and a very secure environment. We will definitely be back.
