The Merlin in Derby

Staff are friendly, food was fresh and fast just a little lackluster flavour wise but that's not the pubs fault, it's a chain restaurant and so the menu isn't down to them. Toilets were clean but only 2/3 cubicles in the lady's were working and the mens were cometely out of order on the restaurant side of the pub.

Best staff and service was good. Bar ques a little long when you have food waiting on your table and you need more drinks. Kids nachos were inedible. Cheese sauce was spicy with no mention of this on the menu. But free drink for the mothers was a nice touch. And staff were lovely.

Pleasantly surprised by this one. Went in not expecting all that much and had a fantastic breakfast.Prices are good and the food quality is great. The pub is well maintained and tables are clean.

Generic Greene King (Hungry Horse) pub. Cheap food and drinks. Good prices but food is limited to fried foods, burgers etc. Orders can be made via the app for table service. Comfortable, cheap and cheerful.

The food is lovely. My favourite foods there (I have only been there 2 times) are the nachos with sauce on the sid if you don't want it coated in sauce. The gammon is nice either 5oz or 15oz, it is juicy and very nice. The garlic bread is also nice with 2 big pieces on each serving. That is all I have got to say overall 4.7

Good place, great atmosphere and space. More vegan option would be great. But overall menu variety for non vegan was good for the family. Staff were decent and friendly, made us comfortable.

Visited here on Saturday 27th Nov for breakfast while the car was in for service.What a lovely place, very well decorated and very clean. The staff were outstanding, very polite and acknowledged their customers at all times. This kind of service is very rare these days, so hats off to you.The food was also fantastic, especially for the price. I had very low expectations based on a breakfast being less the £5. This was probably one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. Amazing quality at such a low price.Overall, the value and customer experience here is first class. I felt I was paying budget prices for first class service. Outstanding.If your in the area or dropping your car off for a service at the local dealerships, then visit here while you wait, 100% worth it, we'll be visiting again. Can't cook breakfast this cheap again home 😁

Went for a quick lunch break with hubby in-between working.What a lovely place. Greeted inside by a lady singing one of Adeles songs and dressed in a Mrs santa out fit was so nice :) she can sing too!!! The food was gorgeous the service was spot on and the atmosphere was welcoming and 🎄 chrismasy !!! Definitely recommend Definitely going back again 😀 thankyou all.

Really decent. Good staff, friendly and happy... Always nice to see.Really nice food, decent steak as well. Always shows the chef gives two hoots.Good range of drinks and nibbles, caters for large family groups to workmen and grafters. Pool area, well lit and parking decent. Top spot for expenses rinsing, hungry professional like myself. Decent.
