The Royal Raj in Derby

We visited the Royal Raj last night and we couldn't fault it!!Food was hot, fresh and delicious, the service was outstanding and nothing was too much trouble.Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend it! 😊

Reasonable food but surprisingly expensive. A couple of popadoms to start, chicken curry with pilau rice and one beer - £26. A nice comfortable spacious environment.

First time ordering after being recommended by several people and we've just finish tucking into our meal we had delivered and the family agreed a 5/5 as it was hot on delivery,nut free as we ordered,right amount of chilly and just all in all worth every penny.Would definitely order again☺️

Had some great food and great drinks. A good early bird offer of rice, main, nan and pickles for £13.95. worth every penny .

It's a toss up whether the rating should be a 3 or 2. The service was ok but it wasn't without fault. Some of the food was only lukewarm. The toilets look like they had had a really quick makeover but shoddy workmanship let's down the finished article. The worst thing is the cost. No curry under£11. Some of the specials were £17. The rice and naan bread were also way too expensive for a surbabian curry house. It was also very quiet. We won't be going back until they reduce their prices.
