Not to bad for a spoons at least I didn't have to stand in line like I did as a child waiting in the dinner queue.I am no longer 6 years old.It seems that they are now using covid to cut down on staff.Stick it, had enough of your slow service.

Service was fast, and food and drinks to a decent standard. However the Halloumi fries we ordered for £4.15 only had about 4 fries in. Apart from that everything else is great! Pub not too busy at all!

Always go to The Thomas Leaper before a busy day ahead.Great prices with it being a Weatherspoons. A lot quieter and nicer than next door (The Standing Order).There is seating downstairs and upstairs so plenty of room.Breakfast is always hot, toast could have done with more cooking as it was only toasted on one size but it was still nice.A lot of vegetarian options on Breakfast menu and main menu.They messed up our order a little bit at the start as I didn't want beans and instead wanted extra toast and instead they took/added that to my partner's instead. However within 5 minutes they had brought me a new breakfast out which is great to have a fast turn around.Clean tables, clean floor and toilets were clean too.A great Weatherspoons!

Thankfully, I was only visiting this Wetherspoons establishment for breakfast, as it would have been a big let down had I been drinking, with only one guest ale on offer.The staff were pleasant enough and the food itself was reasonable and well presented.However, the toilets were more representative of 9pm on a busy Saturday night, rather than 9am on a quiet Saturday morning.Before leaving the premises a little after 11am, I revisited the toilets and checked the cleaning rota, which was still showing they hadn't been inspected since opening at 8am!

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great price for drinks. My Wife and I both had a steak meal, steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, the only downside was that the chips weren't very hot, otherwise I would have given five stars.

The drinks are quite cheap when they get the order right. All i can say is wow i was highly disappointed, the food was absolutely naff, i only ordered 2 bowls of chips 🍟and they were stone cold so i had to send them back, shame!! sorry guys but on this occasion a low rating was definitely deserved

When the standing order is too busy, this is always a great place to go too and still a wetherspoons so great affordable prices. Staff are really friendly and a good atmosphere. Music on both floors but a bit quieter upstairs for those that want it.

Nice atmosphere, not too loud for a casual drink around 6 - 7pm.Lower rating because the men's toilets look poorly maintained. One of the hand dryers doesn't even blow air correctly and the left cubicle has no handle to pull it shut properly, I had to use the snapped coat hook to be able to lock the door, then when I tried to get out the lock was jammed and I had to pull the bottom of the door in so it unlocked. At closer inspection the lock is broken, twisted inside the door by a few degress like it has been forced, couple that with there being little to no phone signal in there you could be trapped for ages if no one was using the toilet / it was close to closing time.

Quite a cosy "spoons compared to the impressive high ceilings next door Wetherspoons.I had a very good ale, all thanks to the ongoing real ale festival.Upstairs was closed due to a private function.Seems quite odd to have two of the same hospitality brands next to each other, but what do I know?More intimate than next door neighbour, but not as good service.

If you want a good deal... £8.15 for a meal with an alcoholic drink, it's the place to go; however the fish we had, had been cooked, left and then reheated it was very dry and tastless and the batter was very hard to cut. The cookie dough sandwich with ice cream was lovely
