Beresford Tea Rooms in Derbyshire Dales

Had a wonderful lunch here. Lot's of choice on the menu. Called at The Old Cheese Shop. Perfect place to stop for a rest when walking The Tissington Trail.

Stopped off here on our first night staying in the area and managed to grab some tea, coffee and cakes before they closed. The food and drink were all lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. I’d recommend the home made bakewell. The tea room is also home to perhaps the smallest post office kiosk in the UK (don’t quote me on that!)

Good, wholesome food, and service with a smile. A tad compact, but other than that, well worth a visit.

Excellent bacon, egg, sausage and bacon & sausage cobs! Thoroughly enjoyed while we have been working locally. Very friendly and helpful staff, thank you 🙂🙂

A super cafè, pleasant staff nothing is too much trouble, breakfast was freshly cooked and piping hot, fairly priced and spotlessly clean, very highly recommended

Stopped off in Hartington after driving from Sheffield in the snow. Needed a break and came across this lovely Tea Room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great cream tea. Will certainly be going back in the summer, hopefully under less stressful driving conditions.

Stopped here for some food yesterday. No eating inside but it didn't bother us as we were able to eat in the car. Ordered 2 cheese and ham toasties from the hatch in the wall outside. They were lovely and exactly what we needed. Came with salad and coleslaw which we didn't expect. Perfect after walking in the area.

Lovely cafe with good food and pleasant staff. Reasonable prices too. Doubles up as the local Post Office on Mondays to Saturdays.

Quaint olde English tea room also serving lunch and snacks. They also have a tiny post office counter. I had a lovely cup of tea and a fresh scone. Yum!
