Cafe in the Park in Derbyshire Dales

Lovely afternoon tea experience. We were given a choice of sandwiches and cakes to choose from and it was all beautifully fresh. Would highly recommend.

Amazing place. Food is excellent and plenty of it. Service was fast even though it was a very busy day. Tables were clean and nicely spaced out. Inside and outside eating. I saw several platters for two go past and they looked huge and amazing. Definitely worth a visit. No hesitation I’m recommending 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟

Excellent food quality, good service and a team of friendly professional staff. Only had a snack, homemade soup of the day - probably the best I've ever had and a freshly made sandwich stuffed with chicken (and lots of lovely butter!)....certainly hope to be in the area again soon so I can go back 😊

I've never seen a young girl being so scrupulously clean in any establishment. Cleaning under the benches where your feet catch the paintwork etc. The food was very good and they are super dog friendly. Loved it 10/10

The cafe is pretty and in a lovely setting. The menu looks promising. I have had excellent cakes here in the past. Today however was a bit disappointing. I had a cappuccino, toast and marmalade. The coffee was weak and the toast not as advertised on the menu, being bog-standard thin sliced, not good quality thick. I thought £2-95 was very steep for the toast.

Really nice cafe in the middle of Hall Leys Park. Serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and hot drinks with seating available inside and outside. Really good selection of food items and specials. Had a pot of tea for 2 and homity pie which was very filling and tasty. Well presented with salad and coleslaw. Has a customer toilet inside.

Had tea and cake here recently. As usual the service was friendly and the food and drink was excellent. I have visited many times and would highly recommend. Called in again in August and had this lovely coffee and pecan cake.

We went there after seeing all the good google reviews. We went for the large full traditional breakfast. Best i had in a while. Things were not greasy, the quality of food used were on another level to normal cafes. Really worth the money. We shared this and it only cost around £8. The surrounding was amazing on a beautiful hot day.

Lovely place to have a meal, snack or ice cream, just to stop by and rest a little. Lovely and very friendly staff, keeping the place clean and running on the clock, even during rush hours. Lovely location by the beautiful park.
