Lovely meal from their wide range of choices. There is always a good selection of beer's to choose from which are always kept well by a friendly landlord.

A lovely location for a bite to eat or a pint. Holds a brilliant quiz on Monday nights. Friendly atmosphere.

We visited this weekend as we were staying nearby and experienced a very nice walk from the camp site to the The Church Inn with our four dogs.Set in a very picturesque location, the Church Inn is dog friendly and offers nice canine touches like water bowls and a range of dog treats for sale behind the bar.We were probably a bit too personally ambitious in thinking we would take four dogs into the pub itself, but we heard how good the food was and we wanted to have a meal inside.Unfortunately, we went to the wrong eating area of the pub when we walked in with them. This was the carpeted area to the right as you enter the pub. We were soon corrected that we were in the wrong place and found the uncarpeted area nearby. A sign to the above effect could help to prevent people with dogs coming in to eat from unwittingly doing similar.An excellent range of beers to choose from we found. The food we chose (Steak and kidney pie with fries and vegetables) was delicious and good value bearing in mind the quality and portion sizes.Overall a really good experience, and we would certainly like to visit the pub again when we are next staying in the area.

Lovely character pub, very pleasant friendly staff and a good choice of very well cooked food. Unfortunatly the day we went there were some dogs in who quite frankly were behaving very badly but this of course is no way the fault of the staff and wouldnt stop us returning.

A beautiful little pub. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was lovely and they had a wide menu choice. We had never been here before but we will visit again.

I almost hesitate to recommend this pub as it is so good, it is tempting to keep it secret! The specials menu was excellent, our meals were all tasty and well presented and I especially liked the mix of traditional and contemporary desserts. Service was friendly and efficient, choice of beers was good and the setting lovely. What more can one ask for!

Just spent 4 nights at caravan park near to this pub. Lovely friendly pub and food was great. Will go back when next visiting caravan site.
