Good bar food as expected. Lovely staff. You will need to book to be sure to get a table.

Second visit to the Coach house while staying at Sandybrook. first visit was excellent with fantastic food, this visit less so. The service was slow taking nearly 2 hours before we got our food. Drinks were good however getting charged £3.00 for can of coke does smart a bit. The food this time was okay but not a par on the previous visit, more basic pub grub than the culinary experience we had the first time. I had booked to eat here three nights on the trot but decided to cancel the 2nd and 3rd night in favour of somewhere else, put off by the 1st night experience unfortunately. There was only one chef on who was clearly overworked, it needs more cooking staff to up their game.

Staying at sandybrooke lodge given a complimentary welcome drink for 4 adults 1 glass of processco each and 1 child drink at the coach house. We said one of the adults doesn't drink and asked could we have a ginger beer instead told no problem same waitress who took order brings drinks with a card machine and charges 5 quid for 250 ml bottle of ginger beer, saying it's not included in the offer!! Annoyed because bottle had been poured so felt obligated to pay and she hadn't told us that when we ordered she said.So we ended up with 3 processco and 1 child drink, no 4th drink and the non drinker 5 quid down. Was going to for a meal but decided not to bother as that soured the experience. The waitress should have been clear when we ordered what was included and what wasn't and how much and the non alcoholic alternatives which were included, the voucher did say a soft drink / fruit juice.Left feeling ripped off

We had dinner here whilst staying in the lodges. The staff were really friendly and the food was lovely. It was great to be sitting in a converted stable block, a rather exciting experience! We will be back!

Ate here twice whilst staying at Landal Sandybrook, once during the week and once for Sunday lunch. Good gin selection. Food really tasty and good portion sizes, highly recommend.

Have just eaten at the Coach House. Pleasantly surprised with our meals. The pie of the day was lamb and vegetable hot pot in a puff pastry topping. Delicious, tender, tasty and filling with a generous serving of well cooked crispy chips and lovely vegetables and a jug of gravy. My husband had Sausages and mash which he was very satisfied with and would order again, 3 meaty sausages, mash and vegetables. On entering the music was a bit loud but the staff lowered it down straight away.Have to speak as you find and we were very happy with both of our meals and left feeling full. The prices for the meals and drinks are what you would expect for an evening meal out between the £10 and £12 Mark.Walked in on spec without booking a table at 5.00 pm and were seated immediately.Happy customers!

Cannot rate the food never got past the front door.Arrived at 5.30pm 3 adults and one child in a small wheelchair...no one in the restaurant at all, girl who came to us said she only had 1 table and it was not suitable for the wheelchair.......there was no one in there at all........I guess you are making that much money being empty you dont need diners.......ruined the end of our holidays.

Has to be the worst meal in a long time. Overpriced food which is substandard for the money. Fish and chips was not cod or haddock which was £12 per head. I asked about this and they said it was cod. Well I eat fish alot and that was definitely something like basa fish (cheap). But to be fair it didn't state what fish it was on the menu. Chips were overdone. If you cant cook a good fish and chips then I worry about the rest. However staff were friendly. Meal was £42 for two people which is restaurant prices. Well sorry need but you need to start serving restaurant standard meals for that sort of money. Also despite my complaint no offer of refund, or discount off the bill.

Went on a Friday evening at 6.15. Only 2/4 people dining and they wouldn't accommodate us as they had a group of 12 coming at 6.30. What do they do when they are busy..... This was the beginning of February not the middle of Summer. Come to Sandybrook a lot but won't try the restaurant again. Fortunately we had enough food left at the end of our stay to make a meal and probably saved loads on the bottle of wine we didn't have either

We have been to the Coach House before and it was good then. This time was even better. We went with 4 adults and 3 children and the food and service was fantastic. The quality and taste was first class and the service was really friendly. The children enjoyed the food, so nice to have proper food for children rather than assuage and chips! We will be back again soon!!
