Staff very nice. Food was good. If you want to drink alcohol, need to take your own :)

First time at Curry Cottage and had our meal in the special cave area which provided a great ambience! Delicious meals all round and superb choice. We will visit again

have passed this curry house several times but today, I stopped and gave it a try, all I can say is wow, the food was absolutely stunning, We all tried different dishes and i have to say i have never had a Indian meal with this amount of flavour, even down to the pea rice, i personally went for the chefs special which was chicken palal, a little spicy for me but the flavour was delicious, couldn't quite finish mine so they boxed it up for me to bring home. hubby had special briyani and said it was delicious, staff are so friendly, will definitely be returning, Just remember to bring your own alcohol as they don't serve alcohol here, they do sell soft drinks only.

Food is still good. However the service is very poor. Had to wait over 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged we had come in. No smiles or eye contact. Did not ask how the food was, say goodbye or thank you. Would recommend the food but not the service. A shame asIt used to be so good and friendly.

We were told delivery would be 1h15. Took 2 hours to come and address is only a ten minute drive away. Tried to discuss a discount with the lady on the phone and she said to talk to the driver about it. Talked to the driver about it and he said the best he could do would be £5 as he would have to take it out of his own money! Pretty poor management to ask us to ask the driver knowing it’s their wages that it would be taken out of! Curry was very mediocre, naan was good but arrived cold. Probably wouldn’t order from again.

Great place to eat, small and cozy area called the "cave" eaten here in quite a few occasions. Love the place meals good plenty of choices. Lots of food arrives so don't"snack" before you come! Staff friendly too... Oh and don't forget to take your own drinks.

Tremendous!! What an unexpected surprise!! A truly authentic and amazing curry, absolutely spot on including a cracking amazing vegetarian dish with okra. We stumbled upon this place and the staff were great but the food was truly amazing. We willbe back!

My daughter and I shared a delicious supper full of colour and flavour. The service was above and beyond and the surroundings extremely comfortable and tasteful. We would highly recommend The Curry Cottage, its warm friendly staff and setting A lil Indian Gem! ☆

DON'T BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS! Customer service terrible, I asked for a receipt and the guy taking the payment decided to answer a phone call instead. The size of a veg main was shocking - £6.50 and they gave a tiny container of food with only 3 pieces of paneer? The garlic naan that I bought to go with it was soggy and lacked any garlic flavour. My chicken biryani lacked seasoning and tasted like it was old and reheated. Shameful. Save your money and don't go here, they are scam artists.

Delicious Indian food in a minimalist, cosy cottage restaurant. Excellent vegan choices. Featured photos are Kashmiri Saag Aloo and Okra Chana Masala.
