Very nice pub in a good rural location. Food and drink served, although I only went in for the beer - Farmer's Blonde, an excellent local ale, well kept, fresh barrel. The olives were a joy. Attentive staff, cheerful. Nice outdoor space on a sunny day (dog friendly) but a little overwhelming on the eyeballs with the expanse of gray gravel - it's only downpoint.

we booked a table for 6 and we had a nice little room for only us. the menu was not extensive but the meals we ordered were delicious. the beef cheek was tender and tasty. the chicken, ham and leek was good. venison sausages were also tasty.

Absolutely lovely place. Another one we stumbled across. Lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly (very) but the food is lovely. My Dad and I had ours, topped and bottom (just in case any pie connoisseur’s wanted to ask), deep filled.. it was absolutely great. Mum had the sea bass, not usual for her but she really enjoyed, and the Druid chicken burger was simple but tasty. For those of us driving (that was me) there is a low alcohol ale available and zero as well.Great building as well if you like that sort of thing (which I do).Would recommend!

Superb. Very dog friendly which means we can take our Patterdale with us. The menu includes options for vegetarians. I don't know about vegans - as I am not one I didn't look too hard.Their burger is very good. Served with real chips not "fries". The minted lamb pie was also tasty and served with chips or mash and seasonable veggies.

High quality sunday dinner and service. We just stopped by as it was close to Stanton Moor not expecting too much and very nicely surprised! :) recommended for sure.

We had a lovely meal here on a Saturday lunchtime. They were very busy when we arrived but we were so well looked after and the staff kept us updated on when our food would arrive. The food was amazing and plentiful and the desserts were SO good, especially the red velvet cheesecake. This was a long awaited meet up for 3 members of our extended family after restrictions so it was a lovely place to do that. Thank you so much.

Nice pint in a nice setting. Its a perfect place to finish a walk over Stanton moor. We didn't sample the food but it did look very good. There is plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor tables. Well worth stopping in for food and drink.

Really nice pub good selection of beers and lovely service. The onion rings were superlative. For those megalithamaniacs the Rowtor Rocks are right there. Well worth an explore.

We were on a road trip round the Peak District when we popped into the Druid. What a magnificent pub this is, from the name, to the food and onto the wonderful staff, who had deep product knowledge and couldn't do enough for you.The food was excellent, the beer very suppable and the surroundings beautiful. We will be going back to sample the evening menu, and no doubt spend a very pleasant evening to boot.Thoroughly recommended.
